LG 42" OLED evo C5 – 4K TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smart, slim tv with great picture quality! Just what I was looking for! Found it very easy to set up - considering I’m not incredibly technical. That said, I would have preferred an easier, more individual style for the stand assembly instructions as they were generic- thus quite complicated because they were combined with 4 other tv models- hence too much information was irrelevant & complicating what should have been a very simple task.

I was expect the TV to be good it was replacing a 40" 2012 TV. But it's awesome, it just works with it's soundbar, not fiddling with settings. A really good user experience in getting this all set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Admittedly I have upgraded from a 15 year old 32" 1080p LG LCD TV to a 2025 model 55" 4K Ultra HD LG OLED TV, so I have made a big leap in time and tech, but I have to say after researching the right model for us and taking the plunge, this TV is awesome. With both an amazing picture and brilliant sound, it ticks all boxes. It has made film watching an almost cinema experience and we are really happy, I just really hope it lasts 15 years like my trusty LCD.

Based on an internet article, I purchased this TV to also serve as a laptop and PC monitor and it has not disappointed. It has Chroma throughput and other features that make it ideal for dual use.
