Sony 55" Bravia 8 4K OLED Google TV

We are so pleased with our recent purchase of the Sony Television . The picture is so crisp and clear . I would definitely recommend this model .

If you are looking for a 55" OLED TV, get a Bravia 8. All other models by Sony do not have the picture quality of an OLED. The TV inbuilt speaker is superb and yes it is mounted behind the screen. A sound bar is an option if you want cinema quality sound, but play it loader than normal to get the best from it.

I bought a Sony TV (k series 55") for my father back in 2017, and decided to commit to another for my new property. UI is excellent with no issues including streaming movies/music from my android phone as well as the apps I can install from Google store. ONLY feedback would be relating to the hdmi eArc port for a sound system. On some occasions the soundbar does not switch on (ive applied settings so it's synced to tv power) when I switch on the TV. I need to switch off the TV completely and switch on and it then works fine. apart from that, which I hope they'll fix in a future update, it really is a well built TV, both physically and software wise. 👍🏿👍🏿

I bought this TV to update my previous Sony model which has been recycled in the family.

Picture quality on OLED screen is wonderful, all apps connected, only negative is the quality of sound which has been enhanced by previous sound bar from previous model.

I purchased this TV to replace our previous aging TV. Despite both being 4K, there is a striking difference between the image quality. Colours are very vibrant and crystal clear. Pleasant to watch. Sound is also exceptional - no need for a soundbar at all and fills the room. In addition, the system finishes off the TV well and plenty of options available, only note Freeview Play is unavailable.

Great picture, great sound and really easy to use.

I have had this television for just 2 weeks It’s a great tv wonderful clear picture and really clear sound quality I would highly recommend it My old Sony tv was 15 years old nothing ever went wrong with it but I fancied getting a really new upgrade and what an upgrade couldn’t believe the difference in the sound and picture it’s now found a new home in my niece’s games room still going strong I hope this one is as good I suspect it will be can’t beat Sony products.
