The Best
Added to my Sony Bravia collection as the quality and screen clarity is superb.
Quality screen & sound
Beautiful TV, so so happy with it.
Amazing sound and quality.
Hard to buy better with 2 BIG exceptions.
There is little doubt, this is an exceptional TV, Sony are now the top of their game compared to other brand which have sold themselves out to cheaper and poorer quality products. The look of the TV is ultra sleek, even the logo plays second fiddle to that amazing OLED screen. The sound, even on the standard setting is thunderously chest shaking!! just like the cinema. So why 4 stars? well 2 main and rather large criticisms, 1. The Settings: now I like to think of myself as 'tech savvy' but the amount of settings overwhelmed even me, for the average user it a constant toss up between energy use and improving the picture /sound settings which uses more power, to make the most of this TV it isn't for a novice user. 2. Data Collection: Its not just Sony who are guilty of this, but getting the TV set up is a quagmire of privacy and data notices that you agree or disagree too, I always disagree to the notices but since when did TVs because such an object to spy on their customers.
Bravo 8 Smart TV
I’ve had my telly two weeks and I think it’s a great bit of kit specially with the sound bar nine
Amazing
Great product. Its worth the price.Sony is the best on the World
55" tv
The tv is everything we wanted, fabulous picture. Would recommend to anyone.
Speak as I find
Naturally TV’s are not purchased regularly and with a myriad choices I can only speak as I find. The Bravia was so well packaged and came with more than sufficient information to get it set up and operating. We were overwhelmed with the picture quality. Setting up peripheral equipment was also very easy. It was great to see so many inputs, even our old satellite cables were accommodated. I have a particular accessibility need that requires optical out - many tv’s do not include this; so connecting my hearing aid connector was effortless and worked immediately. We can’t fault the tv it’s brilliant
Great for movies
Ideal for movie lovers, but not bright if you like programmes in bright rooms.
Great but one thing to keep eyes on
Brought about a month ago. Picture quality very good. Could be slightly brighter, but maybe I need to play with the settings.
Could have done with the next size up. Can't really tell the size until it's in place. Oh well, will know next time.
One occasion when the screen have been flickering. Changing from digital TV to Netflix or Disney+ don't seem to make any difference. Seem to have solved it by switching it off and back on. Will keep my eyes on it, if it happens again I will get Sony to check it out, if that is possible.
Great picture
I am happy with the TV but when switching to channels its very slow
Just got to find somewhere to put it
Matched with a Sony sound system, Awesome 👍 Great for your Blue Ray collection 😁
Nice product, Remote needs a rethink.
I have had this television for two weeks The picture is very good The sound is very good But I find The menu Not very Intuitive And awkward The remote control I also find To be Very awkward to handle Buttons For volume and Station Selection To be awkward To access The remote Is too small For large hands Otherwise You have a Reasonably Good product .
Excellent tv
Excellent oled clarity and picture. Great sound dolby atmos.
We all have our problems.
Just got this installed and am now getting to grips with its features. The picture is very good, vibrant but not as bright as I would like. Sound is processed through my amp which sometimes shows a slight delay, something to do with picture processing, maybe. I don't know.
Don't like the online startup web page type thingy, but guess I'll get used to it. After a few hours the picture can start to blink randomly, I have to unplug the TV for a few minutes to stop this. If it continues this telly is toast.
Perfect 65 inch OLED
Very happy with new tv. I love Sony easy set up and end user interface best towards competitors
Mm, not sure
Lack of sound modes lets it down. No instant guide.
Bit outdated for the price. Previous Panasonic far better, except for Freely rubbish
Very pleased with quality and features
Purchased a couple of weeks ago based on my previous Bravia's reliability over 17 years and the picture quality I'd seen displayed in John Lewis.
Very happy with the OLED screen, sound quality and Google TV system. I had been planning on buying a soundbar but I'm not sure now as the sound is certainly good enough for movies and TV. I would recommend this TV to anyone as it's just fantastic quality.
Happy so far
I am happy with the TV so far but would like subtitles to be easier to switch on and off. The remote is not as user friendly as previous remotes. I am also of the generation who likes a printed manual. The sound quality and picture are excellent and the TV works well with my ageing Sony surround sound system
Audio visual senses satisfied.
Excellent picture quality, good sound, quite deep bass. I own SONY TVs since my first CRT; my preferred for picture quality and not disappointed this time. Won't tell about all other features, I don't use them.
Good but lacks Freesat.
Happy enough, just wish that it was Freesat compatible.
Fantastic quality
Bought this 2 weeks ago and its absolutely amazing, the picture is perfect almost like looking through the window
Beware the glare, on this otherwise excellent TV
A beautiful, slim TV with simple set up and superb picture. My only slight criticism is that due to the screen. being gloss, rather than matt, in daylight we find that the screen reflects a picture of our garden, meaning that we have to close the curtains to watch TV until the light fades. This, however, is the only criticism and we will just adapt our routine, but it may have been a consideration, had we realised this would be the case.
Visually Stimulating
Upgraded after ten years of owning a Plasma TV. The difference is remarkable! The colours, clarity and sharpness are wonderful. Went for the 65" and it feels like I'm at the cinema every night. i would highly recommend the Sony Bravia 8 as one of the best TV's money can buy.
Bravia 8 OLED TV
A great picture, as expected from a Sony Bravia TV. The ability to use the TV speakers as a centre speaker in conjunction with my sound system is a surprisingly welcome bonus. It's also great to be able to enhance voices, which is always necessary when playing American movies and TV series. The only niggle being that the mains cable is ridiculously short (as usual).
