We love this TV. The sound is awesome, and the 4K OLED picture is absolutely beautiful. Under normal circumstances, I would easily give it 5 stars.

That said, if I had known at the time of purchase that the remote has a built-in microphone, I probably would have chosen a different TV. The Sony B8 asks for your location, can access audio, and with its built-in camera, potentially your image as well.

In other words, this TV wants to know what you’re getting up to during Netflix and chill… and maybe even hear it too.

It’s a beautiful TV, and I genuinely love using it, but I would have seriously considered returning it if there weren’t options to disable these invasive features. Because of the privacy concerns, I’m docking one star.

A great TV, easy to set up and connect to my wi-fi and existing subscriptions.

The screen quality is outstanding and it is fast and responsive with the remote - not sure why 2 are supplied??

The sound quality is also excellent.

The tv was bought just before Christmas and it was a good buy. We have no regrets.

I bought this before Christmas as an upgrade to an existing 43 inch Bravia, now 15 years old. I am glad that I did The quality of the 4K programmes available is tremendous. The online registration is simple and the TV features are easy to follow.

I deliberated for ages on this TV. I have been LG all the way for years. Now wish I had stuck with LG. Slim, sleek looking. I like that the ‘feet’ can be adjusted. It’s the performance I’m disappointed in. Bright colours are just that. Dark scenes are awful; pixilation all over the place. Although I had read this in a review, the sound is truly awful. I don’t want to play my soundbar for everything I watch. The sound is so bad it is ruining my enjoyment of everything I’m watching. The main remote is not use friendly; if you’ve got large fingers anything could happen. So disappointed. Considering my options☹️

To już mój trzeci telewizor marki Sony Bravia. I to jest moje pełne zadowolenie i zaufanie do Sony. Do tej pory mam poprzednie modele i ciągle działają co jest niezwykle. Generalnie polecam, jestem bardzo zadowolony.

Incedible picture quality. You get what you pay for. My wife has impaired vision and is over the moon that she can see the finer details like faces that where previously blurred to her.

Very happy with the purchase. I did a lot of research and then zeroed onto this TV. The picture quality and the sound quality is absolutely incredible. No soundbar needed. The sound is very crisp and clear. Highly recommend it.

Live the picture quality using with a Sonos soundbar although the TV sound is equally as good

I recently purchased a Sony OLED TV. Nice to see Japan producing top quality state of the art electronics. Very impressed so far. Not done much tinkering with it. Just blown away by the clarity and contrast.

Great product. Replaced existing Sony TV 15 years old.

Pleased with my new TV, however being old school, I would of liked a manual to help understand all the workings.

very disappointed I can’t change aspect ratio.

Don’t want to watch most films letter box style.

I bought this tv around a month ago and love it . Excellent quality as always from Sony

I like the picture quality and built in speakers nicely surprised me. I still didn't manage to to stop the noise on optical output, but TVs sound is good so I didn't try hard. Stock launcher was just like on any other smart TV nowadays, but it was very easy to download other one which is what I really wanted. Just be aware while pulling out of the box, there isn't a film on the screen like on older or cheaper models and be careful with cleaning, only use high quality microfiber cloth dampen in destilated water - instructions are available, if you do anything else, you likely damage antiglare coating - that mean screen. It is same on all curent high end screens. TV is fairly fast when navigating in menus, downloaded launcher even sped it up. After a week I am really happy with it.

Delighted with this OLED tv. The picture quality when watching UHD/4K/HDR is superb. It took me a while to get all the numerous picture options tweaked to my liking but it was well worth the effort.

Bought this tv when we recently had new sofas carpet and furniture in our lounge. So why not a new tv too
