Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 57 cm smoker grill

I have had one of these for 25 years ....No Brainer! It is impossible to mess up anything on this. One mod I would definitley make.....Put wheels on this bad boy ....Makes it so much easier to move around.

This is an excellent smoker and it doesn't use excessive amount of fuel as some of the reviews I've seen posted you only need the right amount of fuel for the amount of hours that you're going to smoke. This is the last smoker I think I'll ever buy. It's that good

First of all, this thing is fantastic! Watch a couple videos about it on YouTube and you'll be up and running in no time. It's not pellet smoker easy, but it's as close as it gets with authentic charcoal and wood flavor. My first cook on it was 3-2-1 pork ribs and they came out fall off the bone perfect with a great charcoal smoke flavor. Once you dial in the temperature it just stays there for hours. It's really set and forget. If you know how to use a Weber kettle, this isn't any harder. It's easy, but not too easy if you know what I mean.

If you're on the fence about which size to get like I was, I recommend getting the 22". I fit 4 racks of ribs and a pan of baked beans on it with plenty of room to spare. I have a family of 6, and I like having leftovers to bring to work on Monday, so it's important to have enough cooking capacity. I haven't had any trouble controlling the temperature on it so far and the extra capacity is really handy. Maybe once my kids move out I'll downsize, but I love cooking briskets and full racks of ribs, so probably not.

Assembly was easy. I did need my wife to help me put the legs on it, but after that there really wasn't much to it and it probably took about 30 minutes in total.

Overall, cleanup wasn't too bad, but make sure you cover the water pan with aluminum foil! I forgot to do that for my first cook and regretted my life choices.

I saw videos about the Weber Smokey Mountain and thought that I would give it a try . It does everything that the videos said that it does , excellent smoke flavors, easy-to-use and easy assembly. The way it works makes the charcoal last a long time so you don't have to tend the fire every 15 minutes. I bought the 22" unit and it's large capacity is great for smoking larger amounts of food for larger gatherings.

Everything I've smoked has turned out great. I picked up the Igrill2 bluetooth thermometer set to keep up with internal temps, and it has worked great as well. I've smoked butts, chicken and ribs and I couldn't ask for better results. I also have a 22" Weber kettle grill which is my 3rd in about 25 years. I love your products!

The WSM sets the standard in ease and perfection. Just look at how many of these are used in competitions across America. Light enough to be portable, yet heavy enough to last a lifetime. Holds temperature perfectly. Large enough to smoke a couple of briskets or several pork butts. I have had a dozen full racks of baby back ribs hanging in mine at once. I also have the 18". I have modified mine with wheels, a lid hinge, a temperature controller, a heavy duty charcoal basket, and vortex. I didn't have to make these mods because it worked great out of the box, but what the heck, I like to play around. I love this smoker!

Can fit so much more than on my 18, put on the gasket kit and there is 0 smoke leaking out, couldn’t be happier

I'm a rookie working my way up on the bbq and smoking meats. But man, WSM makes everything so easy and effortless. You just need to master the art of patience, that's all, because the WSM have everything else under control. The 22" gives you pleanity of space to smoke a variety of meats, from chicken to brisket, it got your back. One of the best inversion I had made, love it!

I love the quality of this smoker, everything about it is built very well and sturdy. Easy to assemble, plenty of room to smoke items, and the air flow is top notch. Definitely recomend this product and have told many friends who are big into smoking food about this.

Had the 18 inch WSM for nearly 10 years but wish I had got the 22. After many cooks on the 18 over the years, I finally decided to get the 22. It fits things like ribs and brisket way better and I advise anyone to go ahead and get the 22 inch if you’re debating. 22 inch is a little more work to stabilize temps than the 18 inch, in my experience. That being said, this thing works like a champ. Cooks great food and great smoke flavor. Amazing smoker
