You'll need Tili for Vaihtokauppa trade-in
Vaihtokauppa trade-in credit is paid to your Tili, so apply for Tili if you're not already using our flexible payment method. Opening and maintaining Tili is free – you only pay monthly fees and interest when you choose to pay in installments.
How Vaihtokauppa works
1. Get a trade-in estimate for your device
- Answer a few questions about your device and its condition to get an instant trade-in estimate.
- We only accept working devices for trade-ins.
- If your device has reached the end of its life, you can bring it to the SER recycling point at our stores. Thanks for recycling!
2. Accept the trade-in offer and sell your device
- If the estimated trade-in value works for you, you can proceed with the trade-in.
- If the estimated trade-in value doesn't work for you, you can simply walk away.
- When you accept the trade-in estimate and the terms and conditions, we'll purchase your device and you can immediately use the estimated trade-in value for your purchases with Tili.
3. Use your credit right away
- The estimated credit amount is immediately available for purchases made with the Tili payment method at Verkkokauppa.com stores or online.
- You can use the estimated credit amount to purchase a replacement device or for anything else you might need in our selection of tens of thousands of products.
4. Take your time clearing your old device
- If you use the trade-in credit to purchase a new device, you can take your time transferring data from your old device to the new one and send in the wiped device afterward.
- You have 14 days from accepting the trade-in credit to send in the device.

5. Return your wiped device for free
- You'll receive a prepaid address label and packaging for your device by mail.
- Pack the device and send it with the address label through your nearest DHL service point (Ulkoinen palvelu) (Avautuu uuteen välilehteen), or bring it to your nearest Verkkokauppa.com store.
6. Final refund amount confirmed
- Our partner will inspect the device and the final credit amount will be confirmed before your next Tili invoice.
- The credit amount won't change if the device condition matches what you reported. Otherwise, it may be higher or lower than estimated.
- If you reject the offer, the credit will be removed from your invoice. If you accept, the credit will be applied to your invoice.
