Having used it regularly for the past few weeks, I have been really pleased with the finish it has provided on a consistent basis. Unlike other shavers it doesnt irritate my skin and leave rashes as other ones do. The battery has faired well too as I have not had to recharge it. With other shavers I find I have to go over the shave a few times to get the desired finish but that was not the case with this one. The build quality also feels very premium which helps with maintain my beauty routine with pride!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Philips Electric Shaver Series 8000 for a short time I have to say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. The shaver is incredibly powerful and provides a smooth and comfortable shave, I did find getting the circular motions correct a bit difficult at first, however, the mobile app to which you can connect the razer to provides help for this.

One of the things I love about this shaver is the multi-directional heads which allowed the razer to work easily with the contours of my face and neck giving me a really close shave.

The battery life has also been impressive, with only needing to run the razer a few minutes at a time every other day I have found that I do not need to place it on charge often at all. I did however find one time that it did run out of charge whilst shaving, the 5-minute quick charging feature came in very useful on this occasion.

The shaver is also very easy to clean with just a press of a button, all you then need to do is shake out the hair and use the provided brush to remove the smaller bits left behind.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Philips Electric Shaver Series 8000. It provides a brilliant shaving experience and has exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a high-quality electric shaver, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well-made shaver, it's a one button device with a display making it easy to use once you understand what the display icons mean. Comes with some handy accessories. I like the indicator icon letting you know when and how you should clean the shaver. This can be done using the cleaning pod, which is fine but the pod would have benefited from a cover for it to avoid spills.

Charges pretty quickly and seems to last better than previous shavers I've used, but there is an easily accessible display icon telling you the battery level at any time.

Having never used a three headed shaver like this before, it took me a few attempts to get the hang of the circular motion shaving style, but again there is an icon on the display to guide you. There is also an accompanying app which can be downloaded to aid you with your shaving style, with tips and stats on your shaving.

If I could improve two things about this product and it's accessories, they would be:

1. include a cover for the cleaning pod
2. have an easier to understand user manual (particularly important would be to have descriptions of what the icons mean in the instruction manual, as these correspond with the icons on the display of the device).
   
   

Overall this is a sturdy product that looks and feels well made. It shaves very well and very close.with few nips and nicks on the skin.

The two main points are that it gives a very close shave with minimal effort and the battery life is surprising long. I have been using it everyday for nearly a month now on a single charge and no sign of it running out of battery. In fact there are two charge bars out of three remaining.

The shaver comes with a small brush and pouch, both I find essential/useful for cleaning and easy storage. There has been absolutely no problems with using the shaver, it holds nicely with premium feel, it makes very little noise and I can always finish a daily shave within 3 minutes. I have also used it in conjunction with the Philips Daily Care phone app and the guided shave there but I don't find that helping because I know i'm shaving and most times I receive a low correct motion percentage so it makes me wonder if I am shaving correctly.

Based on my experience, it's the best shaver I have used to date and I'm very happy with it overall.

I found the App particularly useful as it gives helpful hints and tips on what you are doing right and how to improve things that are not quite correct. It also tells you how many shaves you have left on the charge. It is charged via a USB port which I will find particularly useful due to frequent travelling.

It's not to bulky and it's comfortable to hold, the movement of the blades give you the best shaving experience. Whether you are looking to trim, shape or a full shave this is the shaver for you.
