I just want a printer to print the occasional print, to stop when running out of paper and ink (unlike the HP one thats just been 'returned to sender') This one seems to be capable of performing these basic functions. Arvosana 5/5I decided to replace my current printer, but was reluctant to go for the very popular tank type printers, as I only use it occasionally. The Brother is a great compromise as the cartridges are larger than most. I’m more than happy with Brother dcp j1050dw. It’s small and very easy to use, with surprisingly good results. I’m also impressed with connectivity too, which allows me to use it from virtually anywhere. Arvosana 5/5I'd got used to the slow ways of my previous Canon. So when I hooked up this Brother I was so pleased at the speed of printing. ie. I click print and it prints immediately! (I know little things please etc....) there are a couple of instant clunks to start with but so what.
