If I would of pay the full price before sale I would of sent it straight back. It takes about 10 minutes to have the shaver with results and still leaves loads of air on me.

I have had exactly the same shaver for a couple of years & decided to buy another for my holiday property in Spain. I took the old one to Spain & kept the new one here. Oddly the new one, although good, doesn't seem to shave as close as the old one. I am putting this down to the fact it is new & maybe needs 'running in'.

Shaves better than my previous shaver especially around my nose. Blades not as easy to clean though.

The Razor is fine, but I bought it to replace my ageing 7000 series. I quickly realised that my old one felt much more comfortable in my hands whilst shaving so took the new blades and foils from the new one and put them in my old one - perfect. I'll keep the new one in a drawer just in case! To be fair the integral trimmer on the new one is better, just the ergonomics don't feel right

Having finally upgraded from the old 3000 model to the 5000, I have found the new shaver to be a significant improvement. I now get a very smooth shave and takes less time to do so than the previous shaver.

The reason I have only given four stars is because of the time it sometimes takes me to fit in the blades after cleaning. The locking of the final piece of a blade in particular can be very time consuming and does not always lock in properly. This may be that I am a "senior citizen" and as time goes on I may hopefully find the refitting easier.

I was given a philishave razor for my 21st birthday and used it for many many years. Roll on fifty years and I was considering getting a new cordless razor. Having bought a Braun series 9 which I used for a couple of years dropped it in the shower and tried to get it repaired which didn’t prove cost effective. I looked around and the most cost effective solution was to purchase a Philips, which I did. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how good it was and looked. It was like welcoming home an old friend.

product does what it is supposed to do. gives an excellent shave, easy to use, comfortable.

Coming from blade, to electric after 45 years of shaving I found the initial experience a little sore and time consuming. After finding my footing and relaxing my approach to the task I found that the machine was very capable of a perfect shave in under 5 minutes. Having had to shave twice a day for most of my adult life this ha s saved time and is as good as a single blade shave

Disappointed. Harsh on skin. Everytime I use it and shaver cuts my face.

I chose this Phillips, because of being a Philips razor over I felt time to upgrade

This was bought as a gift for my father in law. He's 95yrs old and he is thrilled with it

i have used philps shavers for a loing time, and so far this model is the best, i get a real clean shave as always but this shaver feels more comfortable in your hand, this model i bought was a philips refurbished one which still included a full warranty.i have bought refurbished shavers before and i highly recommend them,how can you go wrong with the same warranty as a new one, they always look new to me anyway.

It works well, but can be a bit sore on a dry shave, Was bought for convenience and it saves a lot of time for a quick shave, not as good has a wet shave, but ok.

The shaver is stylish, reliable and robust, gives a close shave and is easy to clean.

I would have given it 5 stars apart from one feature. The power socket should be a standard USB C so that it can be charged from the same charger used for laptops and phones without hunting for the right cable and carrying a non standard cable when traveling.

Otherwise an excellent razor. I use it daily.

Performance is very disappointing. I have had many Philips shavers before but this one is just ineffective. It takes twice as long to shave than my previous Philips shaver as I have to keep going areas multiple times, and this makes more skin sore . I do not recommend this model .

Superb smooth shave regardless of stubble growth. Easy to hold and recharging stand is a very useful extra.

Do not like the extended area around the cutting heads as they inhibit getting close to stubble immediately under the nose. (unlike previous Phillips shavers) Also the on?off button position can irritate as it is too easy for the thumb to touch it whilst shaving and switch it off. Something I did not like with previous 6000.

Much lighter than the previous models, I like the squarer design not so spherical, easier to hold.

Quieter motor, but doesn’t seam as powerful. However its a better shave.

This razor shaves very well and has a long-lasting battery. It also has an attachment for dealing with longer hairs which my previous one didn't have. The slight negative I have about it is that with its five sided surrounds of the rotating cutters it feels clumsier and makes it difficult to access narrow spaces. The surrounds on my previous razor were rounded.
