Not as good as previous Philips electric shavers. Hairs on top lip difficult to get properly due to size of surround around blades. Saying that generally ok for the price.

The shaver is fantastic but the nose trimmer is absolutely useless doesn’t remove any nose or ear hairs.

The quality of shave is very poor. Had 2 of these razors both faulty. Finally returned for a refund. The cleaning station is runnish as it doesnt clean yhe razor or dry it

Finally bought a Braun series 7. Far better shave

l find that the shaving heads are not as soft and flexible as the one l had before is there a reason why ?? lm not sure it’s for me, can you help with this issue please thank you. Barry

It works but two aspects of design are stupid.#

1. The on off swtich is in a stupid position so that as you grip the rhing to use it, you often accidentally press the on off switch thus switching it off. Why not a slide switch as before. ????
2. To use the clipper fitting youi have to pull off the 3 ring head and put on the clipper. Annoying !!!

Why not a built in pop up clipper as before.?????????/

used Philips electric shaver in the past, this an upgrade.

This I such an upgrade from my old shaver same brand but this shaves as good as a blade and is quicker. Lobe it just wish had got it earlier, was in sale prior to Christmas so win win. If ya have never shaved with a philips and wish to buy one totally stand by my words no regrets. Case could be a bit more sturdy as just a cloth not good for bumps and bruises. Won't fit into my old one which was 10 times better.

The razor is good quality sturdy and fast charging. It's a pity that is isn't a really close shave

This was a replacement for a seven year old Philips, which was a replacement for am eight year old one. This is the quietest and most effective shaver I have had to date. Excellent!

I bought this razor when it was on half price offer,considering the price of blades I thought I give it a try,I love this razor it gives a close shave ,good battery life and after six months it will have paid for itself,I won’t be going back to a blade shave again.

I spent a while choosing which shaver to buy. Sifted through lots of comparison reviews, specs and comments before settling on the S5000 model.

It has a lot of features from the top spec S9000 model. The cutting speed, motor, blades ect was the same as the S7000, but at a much cheaper price........The overall winner!!

Excellent shave provided by this unit. Have used only as a dry shaver and have noticed the shaving time is less to get the same close shave . Would recommend this product to anyone investing in a new shaver.

A must purchase in end - Needed a change from razor shaving - set shave with my Phillips 5000 series is a game changer for me - been like using a new razor every time I use / enjoy shaving - curious how 7000 / 9000 series could be better - but maybe next time - even took away with me which is unusual

I’ve been using my new shaver for a few months now, and I love it. It gives a very close shave with ease. Good grip to it, and great hard case, especially for travel. I haven’t used the nose trimmer that comes with it, as I already have one, but no doubt it will be just as good.

This is the fourth Philips shaver I have owned over the years and without doubt it is by far the best with the floating head working really well, so very comfortable to use and of course the closest shave I have ever had from an electric shaver.

I started to get a recurring neck irritation with my old shaver, different style and make. Decided to try and Phillips. So far, it's worked well.

Seems gentle on the skin, especially when used wet.

Bought with a cleaning station, all very compact and very reasonably priced.

Gives a good close shave.

I'm glad I changed.

I have owned dozens of electric shavers over the years, the last 2 or 3 being Phillips.

I can honestly say that this is the best yet, leaving my skin feeling very smooth with no irritation. And I love the self cleaning facility.

Lovely clean shave. Easy to clean and battery life very good.

Putting the plastic cover on and off the shaver head feels like either the head or the cover will break. Takes some time to complete a shave and even then still feel some stubble. Plastic cover was missing from the box, had to buy it separately.

Far better than my old razor. Modern triple head is fantastic.

Premium shaver produces improved results compared to previous 3000 series. Very happy with series 5000 good battery life and fast motor.
