This product makes a lot of noise, it’s like having a fan on all the time. The humidity level never goes over 25%, no matter how strong you put it to work.

Early review. I've been using the humidifier for one month and it has helped a lot now that the air is getting very dry. I do believe the price is too high for what the device does. But otherwise it works as expected. The cleaning it's not too difficult thanks to the bracket where the filter rests, you just move the filter with the plastic bracket into a bucket to clean it with the acidic solution, this way the filter doesn't deform.

Toimii sinänsä hyvin ja on mukava käyttää. Ei kuitenkaan jaksa pakkasella nostaa kosteutta kuin hieman yli 30:en yhdessä makuuhuoneessa, joka on pienehkö. Pitää pientä ääntä myös yötilassa, ei kuitenkaan kovinkaan häiritsevää. Valoa emme ole onnistuneet saamaan kokonaan pois päältä.

Toimiva, kosteusprosentin automaattisesti ylläpitävä ilmankostutin. Toimii, kuten tarkoitettu!

Teho riittä pienessä tilassa 45%, mutta olohuoneessa ei riitä.

Veden lisääminen helppoa, kostuttaa ilmaa lupausten mukaisesti. Tuuletin hurisee yöasennossakin jonkin verran ja varsinkin tuulettimen pätkiminen saavutettaessa asetetun kosteustason saattaa häiritä.

Kostutin sisältää vaihdettavan eräänlaisen suodattimen, joka tulisi puhdistaa kerran viikossa upottamalla laimennettuun sitruunahappoon. Suodattimesta tulikin puhdas kyseisillä ohjeen mukaisilla toimenpiteillä ja sitruunahappoakin saa edullisesti maatalousalan liikkeistä.

Pudotin silti yhden tähden juuri kostutussuodattimen vuoksi, pelkään ilmankostuttimesta muodostuvan homelingon, mikäli huolto laiminlyödään. Viikottainen huolto vaatii kuitenkin viitseliäisyyttä. Silmämäärisesti arvioisin pariviikkoa huoltovälinä riittävän puhtaissa oloissa.

Heppoisen oloinen suoatin tulee vaihtaa 6kk-1v välen tästä tulee lisäkustannuksia.

Ostin tuotteen pääasiassa talvikäyttöön, kun sisäilma on paljon kuivempaa (<30 RH) ja tällä saadaan esimerkiksi makuuhuoneeseen miellyttävämpi ilma, jolloin yskä ja nenän tukkoisuus pysyy paljon paremmin poissa. Lapsenkin yskä saatiin parissa päivässä pois, kun laite oli tehnyt miellyttävän ilman nukkua. Soveltuu erinomaisesti lapsiperheisiin myös siitä syystä, ettei laite kuumene ollenkaan. Olisi vielä ollut virheetön tuote, jos löyty ajastin, milloin laitteen saisi päälle.

the actual unit is simple to use and good quality and worked well the big downfall is the filter after 1 week the filter started to turn a yellow colour and was very stained i did as the instructions said and soaked the filter in cold water to clean it and replaced, another week later and the filter is going mouldy with black patches appearing on the water filter it says you have to replace the filter after 3 months, it has started to disintegrate after 3 weeks so wether it will that long we will see..

I got this as I have a little one. Its bigger than I thought it would be. Its a very easy machine to use.

I do put it on when I have the heating on. However I do not like that it blows a cold breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely happy with the Philips Series 2000 Air humidifier, it is in every way better than my last humidifier.

The box is well designed and robust, it was in pristine condition on arrival.

It is slightly larger than expected but this is outweighed by the simple and elegant design. I have no issue with it looking out of place in any room in my house.

It comes in three parts. The top houses the electrical components and the controls, the bottom is an empty vessel to hold the water and finally a filter to be placed in the bottom vessel.

The instruction manual is easy to follow and we had no problems assembling and operating the item.

When operating the item is extremely quiet, so can be used in a bedroom or other quieter area. It does exactly what you would want it to do very well. Any irritating dryness in the air is efficiently hydrated and I'm happy to report both myself and my baby boy's coughs and dry throats have completely vanished.

Previously the only option open to us was to leave a window open to let fresh air in, kinda defeats the point of central heating though!

The dehumidifier, changed all that though. Straight out if the box we were impressed with the size, design and weight of the unit, it happily sat in the lounge and bedroom and did not look out of place.

The noise the machine emmits is minimal and after a while you hardly know it's there. We found this the case for high and low settings.

The biggest benefit though is the improvement in the air quality in the house. No more headaches or dry throats in the morning and no more having to open the windows. There were no damp patches where the humidifier stood and no feeling that the room was full of moisture either.

I would say to anyone that sufferes with sore throats or headaches in dry conditions to definitely make this a priority purchase. We are glad we have one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is close to perfect. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The pieces are simple and it is easy to clean. This aspect I really appreciate because there are no small crevices and hidden tunnels that can’t be cleaned. I love that it features an air mist instead of a water mist. Past humidifiers have left an annoying film on everything around them and this one does not. I like that it uses tap water instead of requiring distilled water. It looks great, it’s quiet, it has different settings including a timer. I love the design and it works well in small spaces because it automatically turns off when your desired humidity is reached or if the water level gets too low! I don’t have to worry if I’ve left an electrical unit on by mistake.The only thing that would make this perfect is if the reservoir were larger. It only holds about 8 hours worth of water. I’d like to run it while we’re home in the evening and overnight while we’re sleeping – but I don’t want to have to fill it up twice.

It looks fab and has a good length cable also so no extention lead needed. Great sized water container so less refills, has the simplest on off butfon anyone could wish for. Very well written instruction manual but its that easy to use i dont think it would be needed.

Over all it worked brilliantly my children suffer with astma and regularly get chest infections so they chests start to rustle when the heating is on and the air is dry but since putting this humidifier on when i have the heating on they are totally diffrent. I wish i had this sooner now they are getting more sleep ever thank you phillips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We placed the Phillips Humidifier 2000 (HU4811) in our boys bedroom approx 4x5 meters. The manual was clear and easy to follow. Setting up was a straight forward and quick process so the Humidifier was working within 5 minutes of set up. It looks amazing in a room it's stylish and a nice shape. It's light in weight so very easy to move to another room in the house. There are two settings, low and high, the noise is barely noticeable on the low setting however, you can hear it when it's on the high setting it's not as loud as a bathroom fan and it didn't effect the childrens sleep in anyway. The water did run out on the first day and it automatically shut down, I liked this feature, when filled to max line it last approx 8 hours on the low setting. It's easy and quick to clean out. Room humidity stayed between 51-58%

With the weather getting colder the central heating is on a lot more which drys the air out. Every winter without fail I get dry hands which is down to the air being so dry and since using the air humidifier I have noticed that my hands do not have dry patches and are generally healthier looking.

The air humidifier is very easy to set up and use and it isn't noisy which means the kids can still have an uninterrupted sleep. I would definitely recommend this product as it has so many benefits especially if you have children, cleaner healthier air is always a bonus.
