The best blender I've ever had, super easy to use, with an incredible security system, easy to clean

Unfortunately can’t recommend this product as had two delivered and have to send both back with similar problem.

The plastic ring that connects tithe blades to the cups/jug and the mixer get’s stuck solid to the mixer and is virtually impossible to remove it

Tämän blenderin tyyppinumero vaihtelee sen mukaan, mitkä kannut on mukana. Meillä taitaa olla HR HR3662/00. Mukana on Tritan-kannu sekä kaksi 600 ml:n smoothielasia.

Eniten olen käyttänyt juuri noita 600 ml:n astioita smoothien tekoon. Silloin sekoitusteho ja tulos ovat todella hyvät. Vain lehtikaalin varret eivät ole menneet aivan soseeksi. Laitoin kokeeksi laitteeseen vain niitä varsia ja vettä. Marjoissa on aina pieniä siemeniä, joista jää vähän jotain "purtavaa". Se on kai lähes kaikille blendereille normaalia. En ole käyttänyt porkkanaa tai muuta vastaavaa kovaa, joten niistä en ikävä kyllä (vielä) tiedä.

Smoothie-ohjelman kesto on noin 45 sekuntia. Aineksina olen käyttänyt mm. sitruunaa kuorineen, varsiselleriä, lehtikaalia, inkivääriä, omenaa, appelsiinia, avokadoa. Banaania ja avokadoa ja joskus vähän muutakin on aina pakastimessa palasina. Kun heittää pari palaa sekaan, smoothie ei lämpene liikaa.

Kovaääninen kyllä on. Kannu täytyy kiinnittää tarpeeksi hyvin teräosaan. Muuten koko "soosi" tulee ulos, kun kannun irrottaa koneesta. Minullekin joskus käynyt näin. Joskus taas on kannua ei oikein saa irti teräosasta. Smoothiemukien kanssa on ollut vähemmän vaikeuksia. Ehkä on oppimiskysymys, kun isoa kannua tosi harvoin käyttää.

Hinta-laatusuhde on paikallaan. Käytin ennen pikkublendereitä (esim. Bosch Vitastyle Mixx2Go). Alkuun tykkäsin, mutta huomasin pian, että haluan sileämpää jälkeä ja ostin tämän Philipsin. Aivan tyytyväinen olen. Meillä on niitä nyt kaksi kappaletta: yksi kotona ja toinen loma-asunnolla. Laite 1 noin vuoden vanha, laite 2 ollut käytössä pari kuukautta.

Yksi käytännön plussa: terän voi irroittaa ja pestä Jos terien alle tarttuu tai kiertyy jotain, esim. kuituja tms., ne voi helposti poistaa.

You need a powerful blender to to grind soyabeans for fresh tofu (beancurd), and the Philips 1400W does it beautifully. Also great for homemade peanut butter and blended soups. Perfect results every time.

So powerful that one will hardly notice any pulp if it is used as a juicer.

Blends smoothly but the threading of the base and the cup makes the cup gets locked to the base. It makes it impossible to wash the cup when you can see stains that are unreachable.

Kannu on kevyt, helppo käsitellä. Lukkiutuu paikalleen helposti.

Tehosekoitin on todella tehokas.

Hyvin suunniteltu ja tehokas laite. Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Tiedoksi että laite on äänekäs mutta en tiedä onko äänekkäämpi kuin muut laitteet. Helppo pestä.

Tehokas laite, joka on ehkä hiukan äänekäs. Käytetty tähän asti smoothieiden tekoon ja on tullut tosi pehmeitä juomia.

Olen iloisesti yllättänyt. Laitteella saa aivan ihanan pehmeää smoothieta ja nopeasti. Täytynee vielä kokeilla mantelimaitoa ym. mutta tähän saakka paras blenderi mitä olen kokeillut. Onhan se kovaääninen, mutta ei edes se haittaa :)

Muutoin laadukas tuote mutta valitettavasti tuotesuunnittelu käytön kannalta ihan metsään mennyt: kannun kiinnitysrengasta ei saa irti ilman että ranne tai sormet eivät menisi rikki. Mieheni on tosi vahva eikä hänkään enää saanut kerran sitä irti joten olemme joutuneet kuukausia pesemään kulhon niin että rengas on kiinni siinä. Tämä ei tietysti tee hyvää siinä olevalle terällä ja muutenkin huono ettei saa pestyä irrallisina. Ei tulisi enää meille tämän vuoksi.

Tehokas sekoitin. Kevyt muovikannu on plussaa, lapsetkin jaksaa käsitellä täyttä kannua. Äänekäs tämä on, mutta ei sitä kovin pitkiä aikoja tarvitse sietää joten ei juuri haittaa.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, a gadget must earn its place in the kitchen. It’s a big blender, so it really needs to earn it, but this one does. It does what it does very well, and it’s easy to clean. It looks professional and expensive, and makes my humble kitchen look better.

Out of the box, you get a tall, serious-looking piece of kit, comprising a large base unit, with a tall glass jug on the top.The device is excellent for smoothies, ice cream etc.

Great simple settings - the best thing is the quality of product - its so sturdy and heavy - everything clicks and feels solid.

This comes with a amazing Recipe book with 36 recipes that do not demand too many ingredients, just a few fruits and vegies commonly found in local Supermarkets or online and a few other ingredients already available in most homes such as garlic, ice, cheese, pepper and olive oil. There is an App for it, the Health Drinks App (Google App tore and Apple Store).

It is certainly powerful! That price tag gets you something that will pulverize almost anything you put in it. It will make soups and purees and smoothies, of course, and will swirl everything around top to bottom so you don't end up with lumps.

This is an phenomenal blender! It liquidises anything you throw at it. I rate it as outstanding — both in performance and looks.

Now the more important how I lost 4.5lbs!!!

It was so simple, thanks to Philips Blender I have added green smoothies to my diet, drink everyday after work, before I start prepare dinner! So simple and so effective.

The motor is powerful but seems to not be ventilated properly at low revs under high stress (such as when blending frozen fruit).

If you want to make a frozen smoothie, it would be best if you add the fruit in small batches so the motor always spins at a comfortable speed and keeps itself cool, otherwise it will burn itself out as has happened to us.

Overall I give it 5 stars for the price and capability, but if you need something that will work no matter what you throw at it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls are simple with a dial to turn on and can be used to set the speed of the blender manually otherwise there is a smoothie and ice crushing mode and a “P” mode which might be a Pulse mode but Instructions aren’t very clear.

There are small suction cups for feet which hold the base down, making it easier to attach/detach the jug.

It’s easy to clean, the only minor issue is removing the blade from the jug can be difficult due to the seal.

Smoothies come out very well. With other blenders I have used, the skin of fruits like grapes/apple can remain in fairly large pieces after blending, but this blender does a good job and seems to blend the skin into finer pieces.

I have also made a few vegetable soups, all coming out very smooth and consistent. I have had good results with and without the spatula attachment, so I’m not sure how much it helps, but it’s definitely useful when scraping out the jug.

In conclusion, this is a good solid blender with a clean modern design that is easy to use. From what I have blended so far its had no trouble blending fruits/vegetables or ice, producing good results every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used many different blenders in the past, it is very clear that the Problend 6 has been designed and built remarkably well. The overall product is very aesthetically pleasing, and little can be said to fault it in this area. The blender can be used intuitively. There are a total of 3 buttons and 1 large knob. The buttons contain a large P for pulse, a picture of some fruit for smoothies and a picture of ice cubes for ice. The knob allows you to manually control the speed.

The first thing that was very apparent was that the blender is very powerful. In most blenders, this would cause a large amount of vibration and noise, however, the rubber feet as well as the overall weight of the Problend 6 keep this in check, leaving it stable and wobble free. This stability does come with a slight downside as the blender and jug are quite heavy, especially when full which could be troublesome for some users. As the rubber feet are suckered it could sometimes be slightly awkward to pick up for some people. Although this problem was eased with the addition of grip holes on either side of the blender.

In terms of actual functionality, again I was impressed with the ease and speed at which it was able to blend whatever I threw at it. Having made both soup and smoothies, the Problend 6 was able to puree multiple items in a matter of seconds. The texture of the blends was noticeably finer/smoother than I have experienced before. One thing that should be noted is that when trying to blend some pumpkin, the pumpkin got stuck to the side of the jar and was therefore not being sucked into the blender, however, adding some liquid solved this problem fully. There is also a spatula included that can be used to solve this problem.

Overall, this is a brilliant product and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a powerful, stylish and reliable blender.

This blender is exactly what I need for making my home made nut butters. It is a high speed blender for 50% finer blending. It blends a perfect nut butter so I can control the oil content of my favourite spread. I had a blender before which was unable to transform nuts for a nut butter. I am so satisfied with Philips ProBlend.

I love to blend fruit & veg smoothies to help my family and myself to eat more veggies. We are fine with fruit but I think we all need to eat more vegetables. Philips has a free app with lots of healthy recipes, where the proportions of smoothie ingredients are:

1/3 fruit for natural sweetness

1/3 vegetables as health and fibre boosters

1/3 liquid for hydration

I also use my Philips ProBlend to make home-made ice cream from frozen fruit, ice or frozen yogurt. This massive blender is strong enough to blend ice cubes perfectly. It has even suction cup legs for a perfect hold.

With Philips ProBlend 6 healthy eating and snacking is extremely easy. Making smoothies is as quick as opening a sharing bag of chocolate. Which one would you like to choose?

Philips ProBlend 6 is completely dishwasher safe so no hand washing needed. It looks very professional so I keep it on my kitchen top and use often.

It's extremely powerful for it's size, which means even fibrous or frozen fruit and veg are easily broken down into a smooth drink.

Since using this blender, I've increased my intake of fruit and veg significantly, which can only be a good thing....although I've also discovered it's great for blending ice cream into smooth ice cold milkshakes as a treat!!

My only negative point, is that the unit is very noisy (particularly when on full power). Normally this isn't an issue, however it has woken my kids on one occasion! That said, it's probably an acceptable compromise to get the immense power from such a compact unit.

This is a powerful blender which ensure your smoothies are fully smooth with no bits or lumps in sight.

There is a great preset button so you can just press it and leave it to work it’s magic.

The only down dose is because it is so powerful it is a little loud.

Tehosekoitin istuu tukevasti pöydälle. Ei liiku eikä heilu. Pikaohjelmat ovat hyviä kaikille muille paitsi porkkanalle joka jää välillä liian isoksi palaksi ja joutuu laittamaan uudestaan pikaohjelman päälle. Ei ole oikestaan suuri virhe. Pahin ongelma mielestäni tulee äänestä, joka on aika meluisa. Naapureita ei kumminkaan haittaa. Tehokkaat hyvät terät ja helppo pestä,sekä tyhjentää smhootiesta. Suosittelen ja saa rahalle vastinetta.
