Great noise cancelling, but have never held charge for more than 48h. If fully charged on a Friday night they will never switch on come Monday morning. After about a year the rubber starting coming off to the point where it is very hard to switch them on and off as the button does not line up. Pretty disappointed all things considered

I have these and apple in ear pods. Bose beat the apple on several counts. Quality, comfort in ear and on the neck and easy to take out of the ear but leave on the neck. Apple are ok but when travelling it is so easy to loose one. Noise cancelling is great and so easy to use on a plane, train etc. Would go for the quality of the Q30 every time. I don’t use them for phone calls so cannot comment really, although the few times I have, not experienced any problems .

As an IT consultant I purchased these to fulfil a number of roles.

1-Noise Cancellation when in loud environments.

2-Great sound for music and movies

3-Ability to take calls on the move

4-Battery life

Points 1&2 I am more than happy with they are brilliant exactly what i expected and wanted.

Points 3&4 I am not so happy when taking a call the microphone doesnt pick me up correctly during calls and i have even been told it sounds like i am dropping out. This may be if i take a call in a busy environment. And as for the battery I have configured a shutdown in the app of 20 mins which is really good but each time i turn them back on you are given an audio prompt as to the battery life and each time i power on the battery seem to decrease by 10%. Another point is if you are connected to multiple bluetooth devices you often recieve audio prompts that the connection has been lost then reconnected on the secondary device not the active bluetooth.

I love Bose and i believe these are fantastic headphones for noise cancellation and sound quality. They look great they are comfortable and the build quality is exceptional.

But these are not for you if you need to make calls the microphone is very poor.

If I need to catch a nap on the place, these are my go to. They're nice and low profile in the ears so comfortable to have my head on a pillow but still keep the noise cancelling. They don't sound as good as the QC35s but I still always use them for keeping sound out on the plane when I'm sleeping. I've not used them with the phone too many times but when I have, they never let me down.

I have owned these now for a few years, and whilst I am very happy overall there are a few things that could be improved.

Sound quality and noise cancelling is very good, and use these regularly on the London Underground as well as on short/long haul flights.

The microphone really needs improvement on these, whereby I am finding I am barely audible even when I am in a quiet environment on a conference call or otherwise. I can safely say that it is not just the pair that I am using, having had the same issue over 3 different pairs. This is particularly annoying when you can use the standard Apple headphones with great microphone quality for c. £30...

Which brings me on to my final niggling criticism - build quality. I am currently on my 3rd pair due to deterioration of the neck band (over 1 year) and failing of the wire connecting to the left earbud on my second pair after c. 6 months. No issues with Bose customer service who replaced with a brand new set each time, however would be good not to have this happen in the first place!

Overall very happy, and have recommended to family and friends. Just need to be improved across a couple of key areas.

This is my second purchase of QC30's. I had the first set for four years before leaving them on a train and replaced a pair of QC20's that I had had for three or four years.

I work in sales and travel extensively both nationally and internationally on occasion and I use them everyday for both music and calls.

As a fan of rock music I like to play them loud and they keep the sound integrity like no in ear headphones I have ever used.

For calls the sound is clear and precise. Occasionally people complain that the cant hear me but that is always because my coat collar is rubbing against the mic and therefore easily fixed.

When working out sometimes the you can become aware of the collar against bare skin but one soon gets used to that.

After trying many in ear headphone before Bose I settled on these for three main reason; Sound Quality, Comfort and Cost.

Cost seems like an odd reason to purchase in ear headphones at hundreds of pounds but after the QC20's lasted years I trusted these to also be durable and they proved to be a great purchase.

Don't be taken in by cheaper alternatives. Read the reviews consider all selection criteria and then go out and buy QC30 wireless headphones.

I am on my second set of these headphones and I'm just about to take them back again.

Pros: Really good sound, excellent battery life,

Cons: only reasonably comfortable in my ears - I can manage about 2 hours then need to take them out. The major issue is that for both pairs they have developed a loose connection and thus are unusable.

The best headphones out there

I have the solo 3 beats (came with MacBook) and they don't come anywhere near to the QC30 as an overall package

Light don't notice them at all, noice cancelling a dream, amazing deep bass

How anyone gives this anything but a 5* is beyond me

Tried these for 3 weeks and returned them. They sound great but the problems outweigh that, especially for the cost.

Even the smallest size seemed too big for my ears and hurt. The Bluetooth signal was really bad and the sound would stutter every other song. The headband would swing round my neck and pull out the opposite ear bud.

I love theses headphones but wish I could get a pair that lasts for more than 6 weeks before developing a fault. Now onto my 4th pair - and each time the pair has developed the same fault. Bose as you would expect have changed them every-time - but it is now becoming tiresome

I bought it and used for around 2 years. The mic is completely terrible and sound quality is not satisfactory. Anyway, its design is very elegant and beautiful with a larger bettery companie.

Ensin kivisti tuo 300€:n hinta nappikuulokkeista aivan mielettömästi, mutta nyt kun nuo hankin, niin harmittaa, etten ole hankkinu mokomia aikasemmin. Vastameluvaimennus tappiin ja voi pajalla puuhastella CNC-koneiden, puutyökoneiden, kompuroiden ja imurien melussa melkein kokonaan ilman oikeita kuulosuojaimia. Mannerheimintien liikenteen seassa poukkelehtiessa kuullostaa siltä, että KAIKKI olisivat vaihtaneet rottelonsa tuoreisiin sähköautoihin. Äkilliset iskuäänet saavat kuulokkeet toisinaan hieman "napsumaan".

Äänenlaatukin on varsin kelvollinen, ehkä itse kaipaisin pikkiriikkisen lisää kaikkein ylimpiä (tässä iässä kuultavia) kihinöitä. Akun kestokin on varsin mukava, ainakin näin uusina tuntuu kestävän erinomaisesti 1-2 päivää.

Naittaminen kapulan (Honor View 20) kanssa sujui täysin ilman mitään ähinöitä ja ärinöitä ja ainoa pikkumiinus tulee softän älyttömästä vaatimuksesta, että paikoitus pitää olla päällä.

The rubber seal will break sooner or later, just google "Rubber Cover on QuietControl 30" and you will see.

Sound and noice cancelling is better than any other earbuds, but that doesn't matter when you have to replace them every few months. God knows what i should do when the warranty expires.

Voi ajaa 100km/h ja kuunnella musaa, äänikirjan kuuntelu sujuu hyvin 80km/h.

Sopivia korvapehmuste kokoja oli kolme ja löytyihän sieltä sopiva.

Itse kaipaisin selvää virtanappia.

Motoristille painikkeet eivät ole hyvässä paikassa, joten puhelin toiminnot on hankalia.

Napit on aika isot, joten kypärää pois otettaessa tarttuu kypärään ja lähtee päästä.

Kaulus pyöri kaulassa helposti, joten se meni hankalaan asentoon imuroitaessa,

takin alla pysyi hyvin paikallaan.

Joten en voi 100% suositella motoristille, mutta parasta vaimennusta mitä löytyi.

Bought these with a view of an all round pair of headphones. They are no good for running in, the band twists and pulls your ear pieces out. The buttons at fiddly and after not much use all the rubber casing has come detached and the on off button has come away. Sound is good as is the noise cancelling but for the money I’d expect a lot, lot more.

I've owned two pairs and they both had the same issue where the rubber cover on the collar peels off after a few months of standard use. Please fix this flaw.

It's a shame because in my exoerience, everything else is superb in terms of functionality and sound quality.

Great headphones, great for flying. Gets rid of annoyingly loud people! Babies crying and the timely announcements from the pilot during the flight when the lights are low and 90% of the passengers are (were) asleep.

What makes these even better the after service with Bose is the best I have ever encountered.

I had to replace these before 1 year was up as the noise cancelling stopped in one ear, staff provided me with a new pair, fantastic. now 14 months later they have completely given up. Wont turn on at all. Lovely earphones soundwise, but I'm not impressed with the quality. I only use them for roughly 8 mins a day on my walk to work!! So not a heavy user.

The positives:

• Noise cancelling is great - definitely a winner here if you want in ear headphones with noise cancelling.
• sound is really good and clear.
• Battery life is pretty good.
• Neckband is comfortable enough (I have a 17.5” neck too - so was worried about this before I bought.
  
  
• /- they did replace both faulty items under warranty.
  
  

So why the 1*...?

• first set the rubber on the neckband peeled within 12months
• second set peeled within 9 months
• To me totally not suitable for sport - as the neckband rotates and is too annoying and also assume that the peeling must be related to moisture - but I’m not an expert.
  
  
• Most disappointing for me though was the customer service... something I hadn’t expected from Bose.
  
  
• expensive product and you have to return it before you get a replacement - essentially having no headphones for 2weeks. If you have the same issue with Fitbit - they ask for pictures to prove etc and then replace so you are not without a product.
  
  
• I emailed on a few occasions with my second replacement request and was 4 months without a response. I only got responses when I used WhatsApp.
  
  

All in all - I wouldn’t buy this again and has unfortunately put me off the company a bit too.

I have had the Qc30 almost a year now and have used them with a range of devices. The sound quality is the best I have heard from this price range. They are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods. I much prefer in-ear over over-ear headphones so these have been perfect for me. The update to allow voice assistant control was a great addition.

Stopped working after 2 months. Constantly beep and no one knows fix. Usless
