Sony A6500 -järjestelmäkamera, runko

Moving to mirrorless for weight and size. First got an A6000, but this A6500 is a big improvement in facilities, sharpness from the in-body stabilisation, and battery life. The menus are a little more clear, and the scrolling more intuitive. A very neat camera, and lovely lenses, too.

I sold my Sony 6100 and bought 6500 and i am happy. Image stab and colors profiles is a good add!

Great sensor. Small, compact and will a pancake len, pocketable. Great dynamic range, autofocus options, bright EVF and custom buttons. would recommend for travel and street photography (I don’t use the video options)

Upgraded from a5100 to a6500. Well worth the upgrade.

Now have choice of viewfinder or screen.

still love being able to focus by touching screen for focus point.

Now I dont have to go through menus to get favourite adjustments - just click on 'c' or other buttons. Don't do movie's so cannot comment on that

My A3 size prints are brilliant quality

I have been a user of Sony full frame cameras for 7 years. Early in the pandemic I had an opportunity to buy a Sony A6500. I was tempted by the idea of a lighter camera and lens as it appealed for when I am out walking all day taking photos. I was amazed by how good the results were. The full frame cameras have the edge in low light or for high resolution, but the A6500 comes very close. Coupled with a Zeiss or G lens you can create great sharp images. I also find the built in flash useful for occasions when you want fill in. If you want a small lightweight camera that produces great results I can recommend the A6500.

This is my first "big" camera. Its great for travel as it is small and lightweight and still great photo and video quality!

I have used many of the A6000 series products and they work well. The A6500 is a good goto camera for video and stills for run and gun type photography.

I upgraded from a6000 and I'm so glad I did. It has few features I needed like IBIS and mic. input. There's also improved AF, especially noticeable with 3rd party lenses. I know a6400 is the newer, better camera, but for me IBIS is more important
