I bought this iron on recommendation of the “which” magazine , to replace a Tefal steam generator and have found not as good .

It does get so hot and the steam not as powerful. I also find it difficult to pack the hose and wire away neatly

I love my steam generator iron! The iron itself is so light weight, much quieter than I expected it to be and fab to be able to leave it flat on the ironing board in between different items. I get through the ironing so much quicker now. Filling and emptying the water container is easy as is the decalc mechanism. Great to have an eco setting. I haven’t needed to use the turbo steam mode yet but great to know it’s there. It’s easy to store away the wire and steam hose within this steam generator. All in all it’s perfect!

The Perfect Care Elite these words say it all, it is perfect and the most elite iron / steamer I have ever used.

I always thought that I was quite quick when ironing but this takes ironing and efficiency to a new lever.

Easy to use and the right amount of extra steam whenever you need it. The water tank for me is very good and I never have needed to refill.

Very fast and good that you know when the appliance to use.

I love the fact that you don’t waste time checking labels as to what temperature you need to set your iron just keep on going as the iron does it all.

When ever I take it out of the cupboard if anything slightly touches the lock off falls the iron. I use to have a Tefal steam generator and it had an excellent safety lock which clipped over the end of the iron properly.

I brought this iron but I received used !! It’s not fair ! I’m very frustrated because you can be serious with your clients !!!

Nice design but steam generator is average.

It's not powerful enough in my opinion.

If you don't mind a bit of imperfections while ironing then it will be sufficient for you.

My iron arrived without any protective foil on it, only box and instruction which made me question is it definitely a new iron.

Its a very nice iron, was really scared of the strange design handle.I like that you can use the back of the iron so it works backwards and forwards , it looked too futuristic, but its so easy to slide the hand in and out.

I love that there is no changing of iron temperature, from garment to garment.

I am very impressed with this iron. It is so easy to use as you don’t need to alter the heat setting from one material to another. The whole iron was a bit bigger than I thought but I have got used to that now.

I bought this after moving away from my old Philips Steam Generator when it finally gave up the chost aftre 10 years. Biggest mistake I have recently made as the other manufacturers product was awful and just releaed water every time I used it and soaked the clothes. I came to my senses and scrapped that one anmd bought this. Absolutlt wonderful iron. Lightweight and it irones perfectly and doesn't squirt water over all the clothes

Well I gave it four because no matter what designers are always looking at ways to improve. I find the power of this iron is my favourite. It’s light glides easy across all materials. I would recommend this iron for everyone

I bought this after borrowing my sister's PerfectCare Aqua Pro. This is even better than the Aqua Pro. Fabulous for bed linen. Removable water tank is really convenient.

I would thoroughly recommend this product to anybody. I had my doubts when I ordered as I had never had a steam iron wthout temperature control. I need not have worried. It does all the ironing perfectly

The iron head itself is lightweight although the unit as a whole is weighty, not an issue but something to bear in mind when storing away. It heats up and ready to go in no time, the extra boost button is great for difficult creases, it doesn't burn anything if you leave the iron on it too long. This is a quality product.

A work colleague told me there was no other iron to consider, it had to be this. We’d laughed about our ironing obsession. I’ve now had this for years and it really is the best iron I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had a lot, I’m 50 next year.

One of the best iron I have ever own. Large tank, auto clean moreover no temp setting and no burn. From jeans to silk it’s perfect everytime. Easy clean and Long Lead

Always had Philips irons. My last steam generator started leaking and was time for a new on. This one is exceptional. Steam is brilliant. Wiz through the ironing in no time at all.

This is my 3rd steam iron & it is the best by far. My two previous irons were a different brand. The iron is light to hold, has a good size water tank & produces quick & effect live boosts of steam. I would definitely recommend this product.

I chose this rating because I like the idea of not having to change the temperature with all the different fabrics of today I was disappointed how ever that the cord frayed just by putting in the place that is put there for the cord to go in but was over the moon that Phillips repaired to free of charge so would buy a Phillips again

No. Temp setting, perfect stream pressure, very light, quik ironing experience

Bit too pricey though

Bought this model to replace steam generator that I had used for a long time, a more expensive model.. Only used this model a few times and find it very easy to use, light and efficient. I do not have full feeling in three of my fingers but can still control the steam button.

We iron a lot in our household so as this iron can save time with its steam generation it will always be a winner, the results are always first class

It does everything I wanted of my iron. It's lightweight and powerful so cuts down on time I'm stood behind the ironing board. It cuts through creases and the auto temperature control is brilliant which makes the whole experience less painful. On the slightly down side, it isn't drip proof, and tends to leak a bit through the ironing board. It was expensive, but to find an iron with everything I needed, maybe it's a price you have to pay. Highly recommended.

Have used the perfect care steam generator for about five years the best ironing ever so light to use and finish ironing in one session .

Has the power of the older heavier machines but without the weight
