[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Iron is light, easy to use and there is no settings to adjust. With a large capacity for the water it reduces time on refills. I even caught the edges of printed images that would normally spoil the t-shirts and it didn't. Great all round iron. the continuous steam function is a good idea too and have even used this for hanging items.

Direct replacement of the 9500 series.

This has now failed, but the replacement 9600 is a demonstration of our recommendation of the value of this steam generator set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this iron. Yes it’s not the cheapest around, but it’s so easy to use and has saved me lots of time which have been able to focus more on the tasks around the house.

The features that have saved me the most amount of time are:

The ability to fill up the reservoir was leaving everything in situ.

It’s easy to operate with no need to adjust the settings when moving between different types of fabric.

The iron itself isn’t heavy and it’s easy to manoeuvre whilst ironing.

The steam iron slides through and removes creases effortlessly reducing the need to repeatedly go over the same areas.

The whole unit itself is quite large and isn’t ideal to store high up on a shelf as it can be cumbersome but we’ve found a storage location below shoulder height now which is ideal.

All in all an excellent iron that’s well worth the investment.

The Perfect Care Elite these words say it all, it is perfect and the most elite iron / steamer I have ever used.

I always thought that I was quite quick when ironing but this takes ironing and efficiency to a new lever.

Easy to use and the right amount of extra steam whenever you need it. The water tank for me is very good and I never have needed to refill.

Very fast and good that you know when the appliance to use.

I absolutely love the product.

I love the fact that you don’t waste time checking labels as to what temperature you need to set your iron just keep on going as the iron does it all.

We iron a lot in our household so as this iron can save time with its steam generation it will always be a winner, the results are always first class

I have always used Philips irons but this one is the easiest and best iron I have had, It's very easy to use and now that it only has one setting with its Optimal Temperature technology it makes ironing a lot quicker and actually a bit more enjoyable. The iron is quite large but very lightweight and the pressure boost is fabulous. It takes around 2 minutes to completely heat up with a full tank. Overall I am very impressed.

Good quality and does everything it should. No settings make it nice and simple, was sceptical at first but it doesn't burn anything.

I bought this after moving away from my old Philips Steam Generator when it finally gave up the chost aftre 10 years. Biggest mistake I have recently made as the other manufacturers product was awful and just releaed water every time I used it and soaked the clothes. I came to my senses and scrapped that one anmd bought this. Absolutlt wonderful iron. Lightweight and it irones perfectly and doesn't squirt water over all the clothes

I have been using this iron for about eighteen months now and have to say it's probably one of the best items I've ever bought.

The iron is really light weight - easy for me to hold as I tend to suffer with arthritis in both hands. The water tank is huge and lasts for hours.

I religiously de-calc the iron before every use as I live in a hard water area and am often shocked at the amount of limescale the special filter has collected.

The iron itself is a brilliant piece of equipment, unlike all other irons you can use it on any fabric without having to turn the temperature up or down - i.e. you can go from ironing silk items to cottons immediately without changing any settings as the iron works purely on steam. In other words, nothing burns or sticks to the sole plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this iron for a few weeks now and I can honestly say I don’t think I could ever go back.

It is easy, lightweight and much quicker with better results than any others I’ve used. I found I was speeding through my ironing pile with ease and didn’t need to stop to refill the water which is a massive bonus.

I did find the steam on/off clicking a bit irksome to begin with but I soon got used to it and the steam output can be noisey but didn’t bother me too much.

One feature I particularly loved, although I was nervous with it at first, was the auto temp. Now I don’t know how I’ve ever lived without it.

Without exception, I can honestly say, using this iron has made life a little easier with ironing no longer a dreaded chore for me.
