easy to use and quite a lot of handy attachments to use

I'm disappointed in this if I'm being 100% honest. It doesn't grip small hairs, the motor doesn't seem to be strong enough, the curvature of the device is to much so I can't get close intowards my bikini line without putting myself in awkward positions or using my older device. I really had high hopes for this and to be honest I feel like I wasted my money.

I will of course persevere in case the problem lies with me just being used to a different branded one.

I bought the product 10 months ago because I have used a previous Philips epilator from 2009 and amazingly it still works to this day but it is very painful and I read great reviews for this model so I wanted to give it a try. While as a concept is probably the best you can find, unfortunately it fails to grab hair and ultimately do what it’s supposed to do. I was enthusiastic when I bought it because the model looks great to hold has extra light and it is for both dry and wet epilation, not to mentioned that it has “helpful” accessories that also turned out to be not very useful. over all the hair gets broken and does not come off, and the one that does afterwords grows under the skin (ingrown hair). I would like to point out that i bought this model because it has Body Exfoliation Brush, precisely because I wanted to prevent ingrown hair that turned out to be a huge disappointment actually, it literally does nothing, it is very soft maybe to do a slight circulation but it is not a exfoliation brush that helps with ingrown hair. I have light brown to blond hair that is mostly soft, they get broken when used or just tweaked and if a here and there a stronger hair appears it usually fails to go out, I go over the hair few times and it does nothing so I almost always end up using the raisor to finish what has been started. I regret giving this review as I was very optimistic and enthusiastic about the product and I have great admiration for Philips products in general but after 10 frustrating months I have to write my personal experience with this model/product in particular.

I will not recommend it’s not removed my unwanted hair completely I did have previous one it’s not available it’s was awesome this one not good as previous one I’m sorry I’ll not returning because I don’t want to deal right now but not happy

Ikivanha Braunin epilaattori hajosi ja ostin tilalle tämän. Todella pettymys, ei poista ainakaan lyhyttä karvaa yhtään, paljon huonompi laite mitä edellinen vuosia vanha epilaattori oli. Kestää ikuisuuden yrittää saada ajeltua tällä karvat sääristä. Mitä iloa hienoista lisäosista on, kun ei epiloi. Joudun nyt ostamaan uuden ja rahaa palaa, kun tämmöistä ei voi ymmärrettävistä syistä palauttaa.

Laite oli suuri pettymys, varsinkin hintaansa nähden. Yhden jalan epilointiin palaa aikaa järjettömän kauan kun suhaa eessuntaas laitteella ja karvat eivät irtoa.

Epilaattori nyppii vain osan karvoista. Shaveri ei toimi märkänä vaan jättää pitkän sängen eikä liu'u iholla kunnolla. Ei ole todellakaan hintansa arvoinen!

Epilointi on mun juttu, mutta tämä laite ei ollut kyllä mieleinen. Otanta karvoihin todella huono! Ei todellakaan tartu pieneen sänkeen. Akunkesto hyvä. Ei täyttänyt valmistajan lupauksia!

En olettanutkaan, että yhdellä vetäisyllä lähtisi maagisesti kaikki karvat pois, mutta tällä laitteella vielä 20. kerran jälkeen n. puolet karvoista on jäljellä. "erittäin tehokkaat keraamiset levyt" eivät vain saa pidettyä karvasta kiinni tarpeeksi, että lähtisi irti Seurauksena tästä on, että laite nyppii yhtä karvaa aina uudelleen ja uudelleen ja uudelleen johtaen jatkuvaan tuskaan saamatta kuitenkaan minkäännäköistä tulosta aikaiseksi.

                  Lisäksi laite jää jumiin vähän väliä (luulin ensin, että akku loppui, mutta ei. se vaan jumii). Tästä ei selviä muuta kuin manuaalisesi tökkäisemällä pyöritysakselia, jonka jälkeen laite taas toimii uudelleen hieman aikaa.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had plenty of experience with creams, hot wax, plucking, shaving and threading, by far my favourite is epilating. The great thing about epilators is that they are durable, you can do it at home without having to pay professionals for repeat hair removal treatments and possibly the most eco-friendly way of hair removal.

The first time use of this product was painful, however this is due to how much hair there is to remove. The hair will grow back at different rates, meaning the second, third etc. time there will be less to pull out, which definitely helps with the pain.

I found this epilator to work better with thicker hair (underarms and pubic area) more than thin hair (legs). Unfortunately I really struggled to remove any leg hair, however perhaps the hair grew too slowly and wasn’t quite long enough to be epilated. This worked amazingly on the thicker hair, removing most and just requiring me to repeat the epilation after a few days when the area wasn’t sore again. I believe this does struggle with thinner and shorter hair.

So far I have only used the exfoliator head, massage head and the epilator; I have not needed to use the other accessories. It is an easy product to clean, use, hold and to change the heads. The led lighting on this product is brilliant at showing hairs that have been missed. At first it is a little frustrating as you have to go over some spots a few times to actually get the hairs out. Once used a few times it is easier to remove the hair and know what angle to have the epilator at. Absolutely loved that this product could be used when the skin was dry or wet, however I did not notice any difference to the ease of hair removal or painfulness.

I like that it plugs into a normal socket for charging, means it is suitable for trips away. It is also small and lightweight, and wouldn’t take up much room in a handbag. I find that the charge itself lasts a long time (up to 40 minutes), and it’s easy to get into a habit of charging it after each use. It only takes an hour and a half for a full charge and even has a quick charge option for when you are in a rush.

Overall I absolutely love this product and can’t imagine myself primarily using any other hair removal treatments / processes within the near future. The best thing about this is getting into a routine of using this once a week and having to deal with barely any stubble. I would very much recommend this epilator if you can manage using it on your pubic area and underarms. I would say this product is worth the money and I will definitely continue to use this product.

I use to have different epilator and I can honestly say that in comparison with Philips it's failing on the beginning. Every single bit of this epilator and all the accesorries is made so perfect. I'm amazed by Philips. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a perfect epilator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I mainly use the epilator. It grips the hairs well. The light helps sees the hairs. If you've never used an epilator before on your legs, use an exfoliator first and then use the brush attachment followed by at least half an hour of epilating to get a really smooth, clear finish. You will then find that using it thereafter takes less time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is good, it mostly takes all the hairs and leaves a very smooth skin behind. Worked better under the arms than for legs. On my legs it seemed to leave multiple hairs behind.

Didn't mind the pain, even though I have sensitive skin.

Holds charge well.

The actual product is stunning and looks gorgeous on my dressing table.

I would love more time to properly test it out over a few months.

This is not only an epilator but also personal body health coach! :) it came with 8 companents for epilation and 2 bonus companents for body exfoliating and massage. I tried it wet and dry. Body care parts do their job really good and an epilator picks even the tiny hair all the way from deep base. And I'm very pleased that I don't need to go to beauty saloons anymore. I save my money and time for other things. Thanks Philips.
