[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the epilator for a week now and I've fallen in love. So far I've epilated my legs, my arms and armpits. I'm not brave enough to epilate my bikini area yet but I did use the shaver attachment and it's as smooth now as if I were to have used a razor. So I'm really delighted.

I love the way the epilator head is shaped and curved to help grab all the hairs and mould to the curve of your body. And surprisingly it really doesn't hurt. I used the massage attachment over the epilator to reduce pain. It was a tad tingly at first but I soon became used to it. I'm now looking forward to seeing how long it takes for hairs to grow back. I wish I had purchased one sooner and not suffered years of shaving and ingrown hairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What, can I say? Using an epilator is never going to be pain free but this is probably the most pain free one I've found so far. This gives a smooth good looking finish and I cannot fault it for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always shied away from pain as my pain threshold is very low and I've heard horror stories from friends in the past about epilators and how painful they are. So for hair removal I just stuck to using a razor but painless razor shaving has its price to pay. Short lasting results and unsightly red ingrown hairs.

I needed a change.

I decided to take the plunge and try this epilator.

I was impressed with how the epilator looked, the gorgeous on-trend rose gold colour and it fit nicely in my hand whilst I was using it.

I also found the 'optilight' very handy and made it easy to find hairs I might've missed.

I have to admit, the first time I used it it hurt a little but not anywhere near what I expected it to. I also found that using the faster setting made it less painful than the slower setting.

I expect that the more I use the epilator the lesser the pain will be as when I used it for a second time (1.5 weeks later) I found it less painful.

The product came with 8 different attachments and so far I have used the skin stretcher one for using under my arms and the massage attachment which was lovely after I had finished epilating.

I didn't have to go over my skin many times either so this meant the time it took overall was quite quick and the results were great.

Silky smooth legs/underarms that, for me, lasted a week and a half! Much better than just 24hours with shaving.

I'm sold!

I’ve been using Philips epilators for years, and this is by far the best epilator I’ve used. It comes with an array of attachments which are very easy to change. The ceramic discs catch every hair, meaning you don’t have to go over areas several times to get results. The light is great for making sure I haven’t missed any hairs, I found this function works the best on my underarms. I really like the design of this epilator, it’s a lot sleeker than my last epilator and I love the hints of rose gold. Overall I am very pleased with this epilator and I would recommend it for a friend. The only downside I have found is the sides of the epilator head come quite high, which doesn’t pose an issue for my legs, but when I use it on my underarms I have to press down on it to catch all the hairs.

I have used creams, shavers, razors, waxing etc. I had gotten used to using the same products for hair removal constantly as I knew what worked for me. Straying away from what I knew left me feeling quite apprehensive.

I was surprised by how many attachments the product had come with. The design of the product is sleek and easy to use. I like the fact the head is curved which makes shaving underarms, ankles and back of the knee effortless.

The products battery is brilliant. It holds its charge longer than any shaver I have used. The product has two settings and comes with an impressive light on the epilator head, which makes it easy to see and guide the shaver.

What I love about the product is not only do you get the epilator accessory but you also get a standard shaving head, if you didn't want to use the epilator attachment. Using an epilator is not for everyone as it can be painful, so having the option of what you prefer to use is a bonus! The product comes with a total of 8 different attachments to help you with your beauty routine, you do not need to look any further than the Philips Satinelle Prestige Wet and Dry epilator.

The product can be used on legs, the body and face! The product is so adaptable that I don't need to use any other products for hair removal. This item works for me.

What also I love about this product is that Philips has provided two additional attachments which makes this product go beyond just as a standard 'hair removal item'. You have a body exfoliating brush and a body massage head.

The bristles on the body exfoliating brush are very soft and fine, which does not irritate the skin. I have used this on my face for two weeks and I have found an improvement in the appearance of my skin. The attachment comes with a protective cover which allows the shape of the bristles to remain intact.

The body massage head is probably my favourite attachment. The attachment has five round circular massagers which easily rotate when contacted on the skin. I love using this on my calve muscles after a long day at work and also on the back of my neck.

You can easily change the attachments with button on the back of the item. You pop on the attachment and easily clicks in place.

The product is cordless and has been designed to be used Dry & Wet, again Philips has listened and created a product which provides the user with flexibility on how they want to use the product.

You can store the products, attachments and the plug for charging in light waterproof storage bag.

Philips has made a very useful and easy product which I honestly couldn't find a fault with.

I was quite nervous with trying this, but, the end results were great. The instructions are clear & well illustrated. I've only tried the one add on - however I am looking forward to trying the exfoliator & body massager heads included!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, this was my first time using an epilator and I was a little scared to be honest. I have a very low pain threshold so worried that this would hurt too much to work for me.

The first time I used it I tried it dry on my legs. I only managed one strip as it was so sore. However, the great thing with this particular epilator is that is can be used wet or dry, and is rechargeable so for my next attempt I used it in the bath. What a difference. I managed to do my entire leg area all at once. The epilator grips the hair well and doesnt need to go over the same area several times, to catch all the hairs even the shortest.

Now I'm not saying it didn't nip, it did. But it was bearable, not painful, and on speaking to fellow epilator users, they advise me that this improves with the amount of times you use it.

It was really quick. Just as quick as shaving, and will last a lot longer, so I am really, really pleased.

The body of the epilator is a lovely rose gold and easy to hold. There is also a light which is useful to see where you are epilating. The various attachments are easy to add and use. The massager is great, I used it on my shoulders and it was great. The exfoliater brush works well, but for me it could be a little stiffer. The light up tweezers with built in mirror are a lovely little item and will probably take up residence in my handbag.

The instructions could possible be a little bit clearer on what each item does, but that is a little gripe not a major one. The different heads will be useful for using on the other body areas.

All in all this is a fantastic piece of kit with everything you could need for a total body treat.

If you've never used an epilator before on your legs, use an exfoliator first and then use the brush attachment followed by at least half an hour of epilating to get a really smooth, clear finish. You will then find that using it thereafter takes less time.
