Be careful when buying these. Read the whole information. I thought that I was buying a complete new head unit and not just the 3 blades that go in it. Most disappointed. Think that I would have bought compatible ones at half the price or even a new shave had I known.

Vanhat ajopäät olivat kuluneet tylsiksi. Uuden partakoneen sijasta ostin vaihtoterät. Vaihtaminen sujui kohtuu hyvin ja leikkuutulos on ollut ihan kelvollinen. Ihmettelen vaihtoterien hintaa, joka oli lähes puolet uuden vastaavan partakoneen hinnasta!

Sama kone kestää useammat terät. Hinta vaan on terillä edelleen korkea.

Tuote ei sopinut Series 5000 -partakoneeseeni. Toimitetuissa ajopäissä oli sellaisia pieniä ulkonemia, joita vanhoissa ajopäissä ei ollut. Ilmeisesti Series 5000 -koneita on erilaisia ja nämä ajopäät sopivat johonkin toiseen malliin.

The heads supplied were of the wrong design in that the original heads do not have the mating tapered flanges as with the replacement heads.

Vanhaan parranajokoneeseen on välistä ostettava uudet terät. Esimerkiks nämät sopi koneeseen jota käytän.

Onko tuommosten terien valmistus tosiaan niin kallista että 1/3 koko koneen hinnasta on teries osuus? En oikein usko. Jostain syystä näissä on hirveät katteet.

Terät itsessään on kyllä ihan OK, ei valittamista muuta kuin hinta.

the order process was not great, it looked like i was going to be charged delivery, but was not.

i fitted the new heads straight away. The shave has not been any good since, the old ones were better. Also the razor needs charging every other shave. This is very difficult in the shower, if the saver does not work.

Easy to use, close shave every time and as good as a wet shave.

The head has loosened after 2-years of daily use and falls off, which is a little annoying, but still works.

Had it one year gone..lost receipt so can't do much, got head replacement also useless,lil pressure n head comes off...what a disgrace.

Doesn't fit my 5000 model shaver, no idea where to buy the correct ones!!!!!

I haven’t bought these yet but am surprised at the number of reviewers who claim to have had numerous successive Philips shavers over many years. My Dad had an early one which lasted him at least 40 years. Mine has done me so far about six years. I’ve thought about new heads but have decided the originals still used are ok for another six years or so.

On using the replacement cutting heads for the first couple of times I was ready for returning them for a refund. However, there must be some kind of coating on the cutters because they suddenly seemed to perform very well. Now cut cleanly and quickly.

The most difficult task was opening the protective blister around the shaver heads!

I thought l would like a new one as the old one was just not working. Its so sharp and it cuts so fine its really good.

Sopii partakoneeseen Philips Aquatouch. Koska esitteessä ei ollut sopivuudesta mainintaa, ei heti löytynyt.

Tuote mahtui mukavasti postiluukusta. Edelliset ovat toimineet erinomaisesti myös kaulassa, joskin pulisonkeja

ja nenän alta olen lyhennellyt Gilletten Fusion-terällä. Molemmat ovatkin paremmat.

this is without doubt the worst philips shaver ive owned [only used philips im sixty] ergonomically the design is disgraceful head keeps opening up spilling cuttings all over the face, seperate trimmer, battery life poor, cannot shave using lead etc etc ive owned this shaver 2.5 years and i still hate it!

My previous Philips shaved me closer (I could go 3 or 4 days between shaves whereas with the S5000 it's only 2 days) but it did have a tendency to irritate my skin. I never have a problem with 'razor burn' now.

Having to remove the head and attach the trimmer every time I shave is annoying though (the previous model had a flip-down trimmer). I could also shave while charging on the previous model, now I have to wait an hour or so.

The shaver blades wear out quickly and are expensive to replace, I only shave every other day but they have still only lasted 2 years. Disappointing. On the previous model they lasted for over 5 years and we're still going strong. In fact the battery failed before the blades.

Overall this model seems like a bit of a backward step.

I bought the Philips Aquashave due to the positive reviews that it received. It has lived up to it's reputation well. I have had to contact their customer service department on two occasions and both times they proved their excellence by dealing with the situation to my satisfaction. Customer service is always something to consider when buying an expensive item and I will give Philips customer service a most deserved 5 star rating.
