I've used these 3 times on long distance flights & to my dismay I went to use them the other day for an 8 hour flight only to find the jack was broken, I always secure them in the pouch so I'm sure it must've happened on the outbound journey, I spent the flight only being able to hear through the right ear. Very disappointing considering the initial cost.

Good set of headphones but I expect the cable to be more robust. The connecting plug no longer functions despite no obvious trauma. Very disappointing after 3 months of use.

I bought these 2 months ago and just use them on flights. Noise canceling and sound are great. However, someone sat next to me and push the armrest towards me and the connector bent, but still attached....and that was it, no sound. I love the sound but the connectors could be better...much better for this headphones price range. I was reading other reviews on www.bose.com_us (Ulkoinen palvelu) (Avautuu uuteen välilehteen) and found that a lot of people has the same problem with same connector. Fix this!!!

My husband and I both have a set each, great product, good sound but is let down by the cable jack which bends very easily. Mine has broken altogether and I have ordered replacement. Husbands is bent and likely to fail at any time.

What a shame this simple connection lets the product down

Have had these headphones since the start of the year and have used regularly at home and work and have been blown away by the sound quality and the effectiveness of the noise cancelling in most situations.

I bought them in anticipation of a flight and, like many other people here, saw the connector cable break in the in flight entertainment system with very little force applied. Then spent the next 7 hours using some awful airline headphones. If I hadn’t been spoiled by the quality of the QC25 sound, the airline headphones might have seemed adequate!

The replacement cost of the cable is exorbitant and I would seriously think about buying Bose products again as a result of this, along with the couldn’t care less experience I had in the Bose store informing me that they had no cable, so a long quiet flight home beckons.

I had these for a present from my wife and they have transformed the experience of flying. Brilliant. happily give them 5stars but the cable connector for connecting to the airplane or other devices is of very poor quality and very fragile and lacking a 90degree connector own the 3.5 end. The slightest knock and it bent and now doesn't work. Just checking the price of a replacement and they are charging enough for it.

I love these earphones as they have terrific sound quality but the connector plug is extremely fragile. I have had these headphones for a year but only use them when traveling. Despite using them seldom lay the metal pin broke in half with the smallest bump while they were plugged into my airplane chair. Since the headphones were very expensive buying a new cord for the same price as a regular set of headphones really stings.

The cable is severely letting this product down ...... If it can't be fixed ( which I am sure it can ) then a free replacement cable could be a goodwill thing to do ..?

like so many other people the plug bent with very little movement when plugged into the aircraft system. So no noise cancelling, no quality sound for the 14 hours of flights on the way home. Really very poor for a supposedly premium product. This was the first time using them on planes!
