Second Weber Q I've purchased in the last twenty-f
Great little grill, great price ,great grilling area
Webber Q1200
Perfect travel grill for camping, great for burgers and dogs
Love this grill
This grill cooks hotter than the previous (larger) Weber grill I had and I have to reduce the gas setting to about half instead of the hottest setting. The stand i had for the previous Weber grill also works with this smaller grill. I love it!
Best little grill in Florida
Best 2-4 people grill ever, whether you’re cooking for a whole family or just several people. This is the Grille that does it all. The Weber name made me buy another one so now I have two.
Manageable size and weight
Good product. I was surprised it needed assembly. The grill could be thrown out. It's under the base of the box.

Great little grill
Easy assembly, excellent small grill for use on our deck. Easy to use and along with even heat for easy grilling.
A Great Little Grill!
I was a bit skeptical that this little grill could make delicious burgers, roasts, and chicken. The first thing I made were burgers that turned out so juicy, a little smoky, and beautifully grilled. I reverse seared a roast, a spatchcock chicken covering the grates with foil for indirect heat that all came out perfect. I think the enamel coated cast iron grate design makes all the difference, and it prevents flare ups.
Doesn't work well
I'm very disappointed as I've had Weber grills in the past. They've been awesome! But this one seems to have issues with heating up. It often runs only up to 200°. It's very hard to grill with the temperature so low. I worked with customer service and it's still having that issue.
No no no.
I purchased one for my Mom. This is the second one. The lid is peeling. It also tips easily due to the weight. I’ve spent a lot of money on these grills.
Extremely disappointed
Did not work from day 1. Never heated above 300. Used it 3 times last year. Just started this year, same thing. I had registered it and was told they would send me parts. Really? At 73 snd arthritic hands that’s going no where. So now I have to find someone to do it for a grill used less than 6 times total. Purchased in Feb 25, received in March 25. Started using it in July 2025. Was so disgusted I put it in shed. Took it out and tried again. Q1200 first Weber I would not buy again.
Poor quality mechanics
Grill never worked. Replaced several parts. I received a full refund from Amazon.
Awful grates
The grates are awful. Everything sticks. Yes I oil them
Has no low temperature .
Can’t cook at low temperature. When you set it on low, the temperature rises to 550 degrees.
Quality And Convenience
A great quality grill in both design and construction. Only 10 minutes for unpacking and assembly.
No need to refill bulky heavy propane tanks as this grill uses disposable 1 Lb. propane tanks and has electric starter. Placed on top of Weber grill cart it is easy to move around to channel smoke away when grilling.
A great grill for a small household
I bought this grill 3 weeks ago and have found it to be excellent at grilling food at an even, consistent temperature. I was greatly impressed with the careful packaging, the excellent design of the entire grill and the great guidance for assembly. The assembly took me less than 10 minutes with the instruction booklet on my workbench. I find the grates to be well designed and thick enough to maintain a consistent temperature. I like the fold-out trays on each side of the grill. This gives two places to rest plates of food as you " load" the grill. I highly recommend this grill for a one or two person household. The quality of the grill is excellent.
Weber Q1200 is dialed in perfectly (5 Stars)
Purchased this a few weeks ago and took it in our travel van. We cooked steak, chicken breasts, fish, potatoes and all kinds of other things. It really worked well. The temperature gauge is a must have feature and I noticed it maintained its heat very well even when I opened it to flip something over. I'll admit I used some AI prompts on timing of some of the meats and sure enough, everything came off the Weber fully cooked and quite delicious. I also purchased an adapter kit so I can run it off my travel van's onboard liquid propane. Weber is the best company on the market for this and has excellent support!
No regrets!!
Perfect size grill for RV travel and 4 family member dinners at home. Cooks great, fast heating and nice sleek looking design. Bonus, the heating temperature and time for specific meats that comes with it has been spot on so far.
Save tons of money and make bunches of friends
I think every college student apartment dweller camper single household empty Nester should consider this lightweight portable affordable, easy to use fantastic grill
Wish they still made a solid grill
This is the second WeberQ I have owned and I can sincerely say the one I bought then is much better than this one! First off it is probably cast aluminum this is including the lid and the body. The older one was cast iron and solid; I would probably still have it but I didn't have a cover and the insides rusted out. The grates of the new one are cast iron, I think, but aren't as heavy as the old one. I'm afraid that if this one is either dropped or falls over it will break
Regulator Failed
Regulator failed used less than five times.
Weber would not replace under warranty.
Very disappointed in Weber and the customer service team.
Doesn’t Heat Up Enough
The bbq doesn’t heat up past 350 degrees even though it should go between 450-550 degrees. Need to contact customer support to figure out what’s wrong.
Great grill of you don’t mind 350 degrees.
The grill is a perfect size for 2 people. My only complaint is it won’t go over 350 degrees. So I bought a large propane tank since that was a suggestion when they don’t get hot enough and it still isn’t getting up to 400. I also did the reset in case I did something wrong but that didn’t help either. So it’s well made just won’t get hot enough and for the initial cost and then added expense it should work seamlessly from the get go.
Perfect sear
Great temperature control and it gets so hot you can get a perfect sear on your ribeye. It’s the perfect portable gas grill in my opinion!
Plastic Leg Failed Dinner in the Dirt
Was carefully moving grill on wheeled cart when plastic grill front leg failed under its own weight, toppling Memorial dinner on the ground. Who designs grills with 100% plastic structural legs? Weber does. Grill was 18 months old, but not sure I can trust the $80 replacement part either.
