This accessibility statement applies to the Verkkokauppa.com service. https://verkkokauppa.com (Ulkoinen palvelu) (Avautuu uuteen välilehteen) aims to comply with WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria.

Perceivable
Missing or incomplete image alt texts
Alt texts are missing for some images (especially in product page galleries). Some alt texts repeat other page content. (1.1.1)
Missing text alternatives for non-text content
For example, some content on Apple product pages is presented in image format without a text alternative. (1.1.1)
Programmatic structure does not always match visual presentation
Occasional shortcomings in programmatic structure may occur within lists, headings, and other sections. (1.3.1)
Insufficient contrast ratios in some areas
Text contrast against the background is insufficient in some places. (1.4.3)
(Cannot be fixed: Contrast issues in energy label SVG graphics provided by an external party (Eprel))
Resizing text
Some elements do not scale correctly when text size is increased up to 200%. (1.4.4)
Insufficient contrast for non-text content
Contrast against the background is insufficient for some buttons and keyboard focus indicators. (1.4.11)
Operable
Shortcomings in keyboard accessibility
Some functions may be difficult or impossible to use on mobile devices with an external keyboard. (2.1.1)
When placing an order, it is not possible to select an address from multiple delivery options using a keyboard. (2.1.1.)
Issues with focus order
Focus does not always move to the correct location or skip hidden content. (2.4.3)
Unclear link purposes
The purpose of some links on the site may be unclear to the user. (2.4.4)
Elements may obscure keyboard focus
Some elements in the online store occasionally obscure keyboard focus indicators. (2.4.11)
Understandable
Missing labels for some input fields
The service contains search fields that lack visible labels. (3.3.2)
Robust
Issues with roles or values
The delivery address selector has an incomplete role and value during the checkout process. (4.1.2)
Status messages for certain actions are incomplete
Information about the results of some actions is not fully communicated to assistive technology users. (4.1.3)
Other
PDF files
Most PDF files are not accessible. They contain various shortcomings that we aim to fix during 2025. Improvements will focus on files published after June 28, 2025.

We continuously work to fix identified accessibility issues. The list of shortcomings in this statement will be updated as they are resolved.
