Printer build quality and price point combine to make this model an optimum purchase. Easy setup and supporting software are effective. Operating ink costs are a big plus.

We require a printer/scanner infrequently, but when we do use it, we don’t want to have to spend time making sure it works and getting it set up again. This machine makes operating it easy and with the app makes them even easier. We invested a little more £ in this machine as it has refillable print tanks which balances keeping printing costs low. I’m hopeful this will be a long lasting purchase.

A super printer and a joy to be rid of annoying unreliable ink jet cartridges. The set up was easy but the on-line instructions which referred to many different models is confusing. PLEASE simplify this by separating out relevant instructions to be model specific. Very happy now it is fully installed.

I bought this printer a few weeks ago because of the reviews I had read and the fact that the replacement inks were well priced for my infrequent needs.

It does what I need it to do without fuss and the print results are just what I hoped for.

I havn't tried printing photos just yet so only 4 stars for now!

I bought this a few weeks ago , I use it mainly for printing images for crafting.. It is very different to my previous printer which had become obsolete soon after I bought it. When I bought a new computer, I jad to download a generic druver from the manufacturer, it worked but was not as good. When I saw this printer made by Brother, I had no hesitation in buying it as I already have their SP - 1 sublimation printer, which I love.

The new printer is a very neat design and really quiet. It took a while to get used to the various function buttons but I am very happy with it. I like the larger ink cartridges, perfect for crafting. The print quality is excellent

I am not a youngster so I would have found written instructions easier to learn about the various functions but overall I am very happy with my printer.

I bought this a few weeks ago & i’m finding it is a brilliant printer.

I bought this to replace a ten year old HP envy printer. Cartridge costs were too high. So far so good. Easy set up and tank fill. Printing is clear and quick. only a month in but looks good.

Prints quickly and relatively quietly. Just what we wanted.

Just hope the print nozzles don’t block if left unused for any length of time. We print at least once weekly in order to avoid that problem.

Still working on some of its features will get around to sorting soon!

After loosing patience with HP's monopolistic cartridge policy I bought this DCPT780DW for my home office. Arguably the best decision I made. Very easy to set-up and fill, providing fast and clear renditions of photos and text.

Difficult to find any real issue to critique except for possibly that a ethernet port would have helped as would better instructions on how to invert the machine once it's been filled without getting airlocks in the ink feeds.

Prints quickly and takes up less space than the previous brother printer. Main reason for buying was to move to ink tanks rather than cartridges. However not that impressed with photo printing, they seem to come out very dark

A good deal has proved to be a great deal. I'm well satisfied with it's performance. Would have given it 5 stars but I have not yet mastered the controls on the tiny LCD screen because I can't undo my selections easily. The rear feed is sometimes difficult with 80gm paper. Other than those "getting-to-know-you" learning stages - I am happy with it.

Purchased this as a new printer for home. Checked reviews first and was impressed by customer reviews of this product.
