The installer will also unpack the new refrigerator and clean up any packaging waste during the process.

Installation Process

The service covers installing refrigerators and freezers in their designated spots. The appliances are leveled and connected to the power supply as part of the installation. However, no modifications to cabinets or countertops are made, and water connections are not included.

Safety and Protection

A safety tray must be installed under the refrigerator to detect leaks and prevent water damage. You can order a suitable tray along with your appliance for convenience.

Door Hinge Reversal

Hakonen does not offer door hinge reversal for refrigerators. If your appliance does not have a display, Posti or a local installer can change the door swing as part of the basic installation. For refrigerators or freezers with a display, this service is an additional paid option. Please inform Posti or the installer in advance when scheduling delivery if you want the door hinge changed. Whether door reversal is possible is specified in the product’s technical details.

Additional Information

If you have integrated fridge and freezer units, they will be installed and made operational, but cabinet doors will not be installed or removed as part of the service.
