This was to replace a Sony KD-75XD9405 a one time flagship tv.

I’d always been a Sony guy, never thought to look elsewhere.

But saw the LG 77” G6 and kinda loved how it hangs flush again the wall and is so slim!

Can’t tell you how good the LG is - seeing is really believing.

Perfect blacks, smooth no blur movement and rich colours all very realistic.

I’m an LG convert now!!

The remote is also too bulky and has batteries. get with the 21st century. it should be USB and have solar panel on back to charge as well, like the Samsung remotes. Need to get your act together.

Might be my age, but it’s loud but not sure about the clarity. Early days, still fiddling with the different settings. But very pleased with the tv.

We choose the model as it is flat to the wall with a versatile bracket that angles if need too. Very clever engineering! The picture is crystal clear and sound amazing with the sound bar that is included. The TV was recommended to us by the store seller, we are pleased we believed them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had the TV for a short time, but my first impressions are really great. I upgraded from a 77" Samsung S90D OLED, and the biggest difference is definitely the brightness. The LG G6 is noticeably brighter, especially with HDR content, and the picture has much more impact. The colors are at least as good as on the Samsung, maybe even a little more natural.

Another big advantage for me is Dolby Vision, which I really missed on the Samsung. With Dolby Vision content, the picture looks fantastic, with bright highlights, deep blacks and great detail.

The TV has perfect blacks, excellent contrast and a very detailed picture. I’m still experimenting with the TruMotion settings because I feel that some slower camera panning shots are not quite as smooth as on my previous Samsung. Hopefully I can improve this with the right settings.

Overall, I’m very happy with the LG G6 so far. The high brightness, Dolby Vision and overall picture quality are a big step up from my previous OLED.
