The LG OLED77G54LW is a reference-grade television in every sense. Peak brightness is outstanding, making HDR and Dolby Vision content pop off the screen with vibrant highlights while retaining perfect black levels and infinite contrast. LG's Alpha 11 processor handles up to 165Hz VRR smoothly, making it a dream for high-frame-rate gaming. The webOS smart interface is responsive and intuitive for streaming.

Design & Wall Mounting:

The zero-gap wall design is sleek and transforms the 77-inch display into a piece of art flat against the wall. However, because it fits so tightly against the wall, pre-planning your connections is essential. The HDMI ports sit in recessed channels behind the panel; once the TV is mounted, reaching the ports is virtually impossible without unmounting the whole set.

Audio & Connectivity Tips:

As with most ultra-thin displays, the built-in audio is adequate for casual watching, but pairing it with a dedicated soundbar brings out its full potential. I strongly recommend running an Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable (2m–3m) directly from HDMI 2 (eARC) through your wall channel during installation, even if you haven't bought a soundbar yet. This will save you from having to lift the TV back off the wall later.

I purchased it from LG whose products are second to none in my eyes - I just purchased the new LG microwave, and it’s superb. I'm very happy indeed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with my LG G5 77". The picture quality is simply phenomenal. The OLED display produces stunningly deep blacks, incredible contrast and beautifully rich colours, while the brightness and clarity make everything look exceptionally vibrant and realistic.

The 77-inch screen is the perfect size for creating a genuine cinema experience at home. Movies and TV shows look spectacular, and sports are incredibly smooth and immersive. Gaming is equally impressive, with excellent responsiveness, fluid motion and superb picture quality.

The design is another highlight. It looks sleek, modern and premium, and despite the huge screen it has an elegant appearance that fits beautifully into the room. The smart TV interface is quick and easy to navigate, and everything feels polished and responsive.

What impresses me most is just how much of an upgrade the G5 feels every time I switch it on. Even after owning it for a while, I still find myself appreciating the picture quality. HDR content in particular can look absolutely breathtaking.

If you’re looking for a premium large-screen OLED and want exceptional picture quality, performance and design, I can wholeheartedly recommend the LG G5 77". It’s an outstanding television and easily one of the best technology purchases I’ve made.

  Picture: Incredible. The brightness leap is immediately noticeable, blacks are pitch-perfect with zero blooming, and reflections are handled brilliantly even in a bright room.
  Design: Mounts completely flush to the wall with the included zero-gap bracket. Looks ultra-clean with cables tucked away.
  Smart UI & Sound: webOS is snappy and all the UK catch-up apps are seamless. Built-in speakers are decent enough for dialogue, but you’ll definitely want a proper soundbar or AV setup to match the picture.

Superb bit of kit—expensive, but worth every penny for films and sport.
