Laitteen muovikotelon voi laittaa vaa’alle ja sen päälle ison 0,5 kg ruokalautasen epäkeskeisesti siten, että lukema näkyy hyvin. Tuo taarattuna ja standardi 2 eur sekä lautasen etu- että takareunassa antaa täsmälleen oikean tuloksen 8,5 g. On todella hyvä 0,1/500=0,0002 eli 0,02% tarkkuus ja täysi tunnottomuus pienen kuorman paikalle
