[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brother MFC-L2980DW is an impressive bit of kit. It is an all in one (print, scan, copy) 2-sided printer with an impressive 34 pages per minute print speed.

In the box the printer comes with all necessary instructions, cables, the printer itself and a black toner. Set up is simple, simply plug in and go and follow the on-screen instructions. Even when turning the printer on for the first time, you can even tell with the audio indicator that it is quality. It has a 8.8cm touchscreen.

The printer has USB, ethernet, wireless, and NFC connectivity so it really does cater for all. It has 256Mb in-built memory enabling it to process and print document with ease and as a bonus holds 250 capacity in its paper tray meaning you aren’t having to reload it frequently which is a lifesaver when trying to do 10 jobs at once! Although I haven’t tested it, this printer can scan up to 22.5 images per minute which is impressive.

I massively recommend this printer for business use with its 2,500 page recommended monthly print volume. Toners are built to last as they are able to do 3,000 pages before a changeover is needed. It is so easy to use, produces crisp, ,high-quality print outs. Not only that, it looks the part and it isn’t too bulky or heavy for the office / small workspace like mine. Most of all it is budget-friendly and easy to use for businesses needing fast print speeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, printer arrived very quickly, which was impressive. once i started opening the box i realised that the machine was very well packed. didnt weight alot either which was great as sometime these printers are very heavy. being a 1 man team was easy to place on the desk and start pealing off the support stickers that hold everything in place for transport.

Was very straight forward to install the toner and get it all plugged in, once it was turned on was a breeze, connected straight to my wifi network with no issues. the PC managed to find it straight away... done the obivous stuff like install the windows app and phone app and i think i was ready to go...

one of the main tests for me is the speed, sometimes when you print via wifi it take a while to transfer the data etc... the Brother done it almost instantly and print speed and quality was amazing. The pc asked to update the printer a few times which means im upto date on drivers.

been using this now for a week and no issues at all... prints perfectly. and the print speed is great. ease of use means its suitable for anyone, build quality is solid and not so heavy. and for the work i need monochrome printing is perfect.

for anyone that needs a fast realible printer i would highly recommend this machine. for home or office.

The installation process was simple even if you only know the basics: take it out of the box; plug it in; go through an easy step by step set up process.

You can easily connect the printer to your Wi-Fi, connect direct to your network via an ethernet cable or use a USB cable to connect directly to your computer.

The required software was downloaded automatically so the installation was quick and easy.

As for the printer, the print quality is excellent for the price and the print speed is actually quite impressive. The copy and scan functions are easy to use and provide an excellent copy.

The only negative thing with this printer is that it only prints in black and white. Still a good general printer though.
