Nothing Ear (a) earbuds deliver music to your ears for everyday use. The transparent design of the earbuds is unmistakably Nothing, but the Ear (a) offers a new take with a bubble-like charging case design. The pillbox-style slim case feels comfortable in the hand and is convenient to slip into your pocket.

The earbuds' active noise cancellation reduces ambient noise by up to 45 decibels. You can choose from three noise cancellation levels or let the Ear (a) decide for you: with the NothingX app available for smart devices, you can enable noise cancellation adaptation, allowing the Ear (a) to optimize noise cancellation levels in real time based on your environment's noise level.

The 11 mm drivers produce rich and clear sound with deep bass, balanced mids, and bright highs. Compared to the older Ear (2) model, the sound is more powerful and the bass deeper. Air flows through the driver better than before, reducing distortion and improving sound clarity. Through the app, you can enable a bass boost algorithm that emphasizes low frequencies in real time for even stronger bass.

The detail-precise Ear (a) is Hi-Res certified for data transfer rates up to 990 kbps and frequencies up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. It supports the LDAC codec, which allows you to enjoy high-resolution audio wirelessly over Bluetooth (requires an LDAC-supported source device).

The earbuds offer up to 42.5 hours of listening time with the case (when ANC is off) and support fast charging. Clear Voice microphones with wind noise reduction algorithms ensure clear hands-free calls.

The NothingX app, available for Android or iOS devices, provides plenty of additional features and automatically delivers all new updates for your earbuds. In the app, you can, for example, enable bass boost and Bluetooth dual connection, allowing you to connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously. The earbuds switch the primary connection, for example, from a tablet to a phone when you receive a call.

Integrated ChatGPT – Ask, listen, and learn on the go. The integration made for the Nothing ecosystem is the first of its kind and works with Nothing ear earbuds when paired with your Nothing phone (available on Phone (2) and coming later via software update to Phone (1) and Phone (2a) models).
