This is so much more convenient to use than my old corded blender, and of course, it’s the same reliable quality as the old one.

This is the type of machine that you really want to have without a cord. So we were looking forward to put this KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender to some chopping duties and see if we like it as much or even better than the corded machines.

We are a fan of the KitchenAid brand and we own several devices. This was our first ‘adventure’ with a cordless machine. The look&feel is not what we are used to, it has a more plastic look rather than the robust look&feel of the other KitchenAid machines we own.

Also, we were worried about the battery life and the necessity of loading it too often to our liking. That worry was soon gone, after using it several times the battery was still showing all power lights on, so you basically need to load it once in a while. This we really like.

Our second worry was if the cordless blender was strong enough to blend the ingredients and give the same results as a corded device. Although this KitchenAid does not look so robust and strong, it does give excellent results.

Another benefit is that it is not a very heavy machine to hold, which makes it easy to use. What we do not like is the fact you have to press two buttons. We understand this is a safety feature, but one button that you really need to press in order to turn on the machine would have been safe enough. It is a minor detail, but perhaps a future model could have this designed better.

It is made of kwalitative materials that look very luxurious. Just as you are used to from Kichenaid. The battery is charged via a cable that uses a USB port. I find this very practical. You can also easily control the speed of the blender. I think it is a very nice addition to my kitchen!

I owned a corded KitchenAid blender for many years, but this one is a game changer, since you don't need to plug it, just pull it out of the drawer and start cooking. The only disadvantage is that it's not compatible with accessories from the corded version.
