Good picture & sound quality

Annoying linking phone & apps such as Spotify like the system takes over or delays the stream

I bought the Sony Bravia 8 a few weeks ago brilliant pictures and sound, set up a bit not easy, but managed at the end.

Infuriating crap. For some reason this TV won't pick up digital channels - auto-tuning is analogue, cable, satellite or aerial - can't find internet tuning, even though it's connect to my wifi.

I’ve always wanted a Sony Bravia but could never justify the price tag, once I purchased a PS5 Pro I had no choice but to and I’m so happy I did, I purchased a 77 inch Bravia 8A. The sound, picture, colours and even the amount of set up options are superb. I’ve never been happier with a TV purchase. One thing that irritated me about modern movies is the low voices, it can be quite hard to hear speech, the Bravia 8 has the normal compressed, nighttime modes but also a voice/speech identifying mode that allows you to increase the speech and it has mar a huge positive difference to our movie nights. I highly recommend the Bravia 8.

Not the cheapest TV in the marketplace but really is top class in terms of screen clarity. Our 7 year old Bravia has slightly better sound but no soundbar is required with the new one. Overall an excellent purchase.

After researching televisions we decided on Sony Oled 8 55in television which we installed into our new media wall, it looks fantastic in the recessed wall and the picture and sound quality is excellent, we definitely made the right choice.

Beautiful picture resolution and sound.

Finding it difficult to negotiate and adjust settings, and it doesn't seem to have an extensive help menu like my old Sony.

I bought this to replace my 55" Sony Bravia which I enjoyed for 15 trouble free years. Therefore I knew that I could depend on the Sony Bravia range. This was very straight forward tv to set up. Simply follow the onscreen instructions. The picture quality is awesome, whether I'm watching daytime sport or evening films.

Love it so far films look amazing in hdr and dv defo one of my best purchases could of been slightly better with colour calibration but still great

I can’t talk technically (it’s all modern stuff now !)

I moved house and promised myself a better TV system and so I toddled of to the local tv dealer in our town to view and talk about tvs , I felt it may be important to inform him I have been a staunch Samsung believer and have been for many years !

I had a quick demo ( that’s all that was needed really) of a couple of TVs of varying types normal HD but the newer types and the OLED ones ! Being an old fan of HD TVs when you view that type it’s as if someone was a dirty piece of plastic in front of the screen compared to the Bravia OLED 55” , that was crystal clear and bright !

Just a quick view was all that was really needed and once I’d seen the Sony Bravia models , the clarity , colours and sharpness of them I knew that was the type I was going to buy , had to buy to be more precise , there was just no real comparison, yes they were more expensive but what the heck , the old house would pay for that and with a 5 year guarantee, what’s not to like ? By by Samsung !

The TV Engineers came on Wednesday to help set it up and they were very polite and efficient and did so and took away any unnecessary ‘bits and pieces! ‘

So now it was left to me to figure out all these apps and free to view programmes, well that in itself is another full booklet to describe and I thought I would be quite good at this , however it was dragging on but not affecting the football but I made my mind up that I would still purchase a second tv for my bedroom and the England matches were getting tighter as the games went on and the kick off times were not doing my sleep any good at all and especially at my age !

So back to the retailers and without any hesitation (I knew which type I wanted) I did the deal on a Sony Bravia 48” this time , I was so impressed with the TV and picture quality etc it was not a hard choice at all !

I’m still finding my way around the new set ups, how to find this programme or switch back to normal tv , is there such a thing as normal these days ?

I doubt it !

Such a good picture clear and precise, only negative is the sound needs to be turned quite high compared to previous tvs

Great tv great pictures sound good . The opposite of the stand size good idea

We've had this tv for a few weeks now and are extremely pleased with it the picture compared to our old LG 8k is absolutely brilliant and even without a sound bar is terrific. With so many choices it can be confusing as to which one to buy, but if you choose this one I'm feel sure you won't be disappointed.

I bought this TV three weeks ago to replace a Samsung 8K that died on me. This Sony feels even better, even the remote when it's glow in the dark. The only problem I have right now is that it's a bit dark during the day sometimes, but I knew that before I bought it since it's an OLED and not a mini-LED. I hope we get the option to enjoy Sony Core. We don't have it in Israel, unfortunately.

Got this TV almost a month ago for my birthday absolutely zero regrets so far. Brilliant TV.

I bought this a month ago, the picture is not what I expected.

I love everything about this TV except for the fact that Sony has now removed the official Freesat EPG from all their new TV's. This is a massive downgrade to anyone in the UK or Ireland who watch satellite TV.

We love this TV! The picture quality is amazing, almost get a 3d image. Blacks are great too. Really thrilled with it.
