The DJI Avata 2 is the first C-classified FPV drone with its C1 classification, making it regulation-compliant and meeting the EU drone laws' A1 subcategory requirements. The Avata 2 can be flown in most locations within the EU without a separate permit, as long as you follow the A1 subcategory rules.

The Avata 2’s updated, integrated propeller guard structure makes it lighter and more agile, allowing free movement even in tight spaces. Releasing the throttle on the RC Motion 3 remote or pressing the lock button immediately stops the drone, letting you handle unexpected situations calmly. Additionally, the automatic Return to Home (RTH) function activates when the drone’s battery is low or the signal is lost, providing extra safety for your flights.

The DJI Goggles 3 now feature Real View PiP (Picture-in-Picture) functionality. Monitor your surroundings without removing the goggles — safer and more immersive! Thanks to the micro-OLED high-definition display and ultra-low latency transmission, you see the world clearly through the goggles.

Other special features of the Avata 2

O4 video transmission system that is more stable and has lower latency than the previous O3 system, with 24 ms latency
Large 1/1.3" sensor type with 10-bit D-Log color profile
Rocksteady image stabilization and gyro data in metadata, enabling post-processing stabilization with tools like Gyroflow
New three-blade propellers and significantly lower noise level compared to the first-generation Avata
46 GB internal storage for video
