Lighting the kettle grill works in any weather and with 100% reliability when you use a chimney starter and fire starters. Do not use lighter fluid—it spoils the taste of the food and does not ignite the coals evenly. With a chimney starter, you get an even bed of coals safely every single time. You can use either regular hardwood charcoal, which lights quickly and is suitable for fast direct heat grilling, or charcoal briquettes, which are suitable for both direct and indirect grilling. The Master Touch comes with charcoal grates and a folding-edge GBS cooking grate, making indirect grilling very easy and effortless. Temperature control is also easier with briquettes—simply by adjusting the number of briquettes in the grill. Briquettes are also surprisingly economical because the same briquettes can be used for several grilling sessions.

Thanks to the unique One-Touch™ cleaning system, the kettle grill is easy to clean from ash. By moving the lever back and forth, you open and close the three holes at the bottom of the grill, allowing ash to fall into the removable ash catcher below the grill. Clean, quick, and efficient. Basic cleaning of the cooking grate requires only a hot grill, a quality grill brush, and 10-15 seconds of brushing. When you want to clean the grill thoroughly, use Weber’s grill cleaning products, which make cleaning easier and perfect the result. The grill stays cleanest from pollen and other surface dirt when you use a Weber model-specific protective cover.

Weber kettle grills have been made since the 1950s from very high-quality and durable materials. A well-maintained kettle grill has been proven to last for decades. The lid and bowl are made of high-quality steel, which is porcelain-enameled on both the inside and outside. The glossy porcelain enamel coating is fired at 870°C, after which it reflects heat efficiently, does not rust, and is fireproof throughout the entire lifespan.

Only the best and weather-resistant materials are used in grill manufacturing, so you can leave your Weber grill on the terrace even during winter and enjoy grilling all year round. Therefore, the product is granted a 10-year warranty against rust-through.
