The efficient grilling system of Legend grills consists of stainless steel main burners, which are ignited with the reliable JETFIRE™ ignition system. Enameled sear plates placed above the burners evenly distribute heat to the cooking surface and protect the burners from drippings. During grilling, juices and fat that drip from the food hit the hot plates, vaporizing and returning moisture back to the food surface, increasing juiciness.

The grill’s firebox is made of cast aluminum, a durable material that is easy to keep clean. The heat produced by the burners is easily adjustable with ergonomic control knobs, and the surrounding heat inside the hood can be monitored with the ACCU-PROBE™ thermometer located on the hood. The cooking surfaces consist of cast iron WAVE™ grill grates, which allow you to create the perfect sear and cooking for grilled foods. The wavy grates are matte enameled cast iron and can be used on both sides; one side is sharp and the other side has grease channels. As an accessory, a porcelain-enameled reversible solid griddle is available.

The warming rack above the cooking surface is used, for example, for foods that require longer cooking times and provides extra space for keeping food warm if needed. The grill hood’s black enamel coating protects it from wear and weather, making it easy to clean.

The fat collection system of Legend grills is located underneath the grill and consists of a pull-out grease tray and cup. The grease tray is sloped so that most of the drippings from the cooking surface flow through the tray into the grease cup. Covers for the grease tray and cup are available as accessories to help speed up and simplify grill cleaning.

The grill’s elegantly finished frame has generously sized folding side shelves that take up less space when folded down, and one side shelf includes an integrated bottle opener. Two weather-resistant wheels on the frame make it easier to move the grill around the patio.
The grill comes with a propane hose and a push-on low-pressure regulator.

An optional charcoal tray is also available, which converts the grill into a charcoal grill. The cast iron charcoal tray has a perforated lid with a corner for wood chips, allowing you to add smoky flavor by placing wood chips in the corner or smoking chunks directly on the coals.
