great apsc camera used for wildlife as a beginner and can't really fault it

I bought this camera two weeks ago as I had an a6400 for almost eight years and I was extremely happy with it! I could see the a6700's battery, autofocus, and stabilization improved, although if you know how to adjust the camera, you can still get high-quality images with the a6400! I think if you are a wildlife or bird photographer, you can take better quality images of subjects in motion! The body is light and easy to carry. There are many settings options which at first would be a bit confusing, but you would get used to it. The battery life is incredibly good. The screen sharpness is great! It's an excellent and light camera to use so far for me.

getting the app connected should not be this much of a pain and my email should be enough to reset my account not a random animal i tought of years ago...

I bought it just about a month ago now and I absolutely love this Camera and I've had a lot of cameras because I have ADHD and I impulsively buy cameras because of it. I actually switched my whole system to Sony because of this Camera, its so easy to use and to hold, there were a few learning curves, especially coming from camera Brands that mostly have Sooc jpegs. The Sooc photos that come from the a6700 have fantastic colours and the pictures look sharp. The autofocus is fast too which I really appreciate especially when shooting street photography. The only thing I will say is if you are trying out the video make sure you have a stable lens, as you may think your videos are free from shakes with the kit lens but they definitely are not lol I have the 70-350 lens and its unreal, the stabilisation on it is perfect, especially when capturing birds or a Dolphin or helicopter (I know random but its what I've used it with.) have always been curious to try Sony and I'm glad my impulsiveness brought me to Sony. I pixel peep too and the sharpness is class! Highly recommend! Oh and the grip is perfection! No need to buy a 3rd party grip like other brands of cameras!

I was looking for a camera that fell somewhere between a standard full-frame camera and the very compact Sony RX100 M7 (which is excellent for its size, but you have to pop up the viewfinder, it doesn’t have interchangeable lenses, and the sensor is 1"). An important requirement was that I could carry it around easily and take it on a plane in my hand luggage without any issues.

The Sony a6700 was the perfect solution, offering a wide range of features too.

Excellent mirrorless camera , having been using a Canon D7 and a Fuji film Tx3 over the past decade I’m amazed at the performance of this light 3/4 sensor power house . Brilliant camera .

Yes it is complicated yes there are a lot of setting up to do.

Yes it will be a steep learning curve but the results will be fantastic.

But given time and a couple of books I now have the bad shots, focus & wobbles issues it will prove a very good replacement to the Samsung s25ultra and previous digital cameras

Shots taken so far have been excellent.

I bought this around a month ago after borrowing a friend’s. Set up was easy just don’t rush it. Instructions are good to follow like all cameras takes a while to get to know where everything is and what the dials do. I am really enjoying the images I have taken as also bought the oss ll lense that enables macro photography which I enjoy.

An amazing camera. It replaced another brand which was about 13 years old. I am amazed by the leap forward in technology. A high quality product.

I bought my camera one month ago and it’s been a fantastic trip from my a6000 to a6700 a huge technological leap. AF out of this world but need to study it . Amazing colours and so much features to satisfy the most advanced and demanding photographer. Sony a6700 a unique experience for a photographer

Small Body Light Weight and Good battery Life. Great for Getting Extra Reach From Standard Zoom Lenses. Good Picture Quality Specially When Using Raw files.

I have returned to both Sony and crop sensor after more than a year with full-frame DSLR.

Although the return was a big re-learning experience, I do believe I’ll be fluent in a short while.

I feel I have found a new enthusiasm as this camera is light and easy to carry, less than half the weight of the DSLR, quick to wield and, as a result, faster to get the image I wanted.

An improved electronic system over my previous camera (and the a6400 I’d had before that) allows me to concentrate on the photography and let the focussing and metering take care of itself.

A quite affordable system to start with. I am very happy with my purchase and could recommend this to anyone from a beginner to advanced user.

So far, and this is only 3 weeks in, this camera has been very impressive. Great auto focus, as good as my A7C2, if not a little faster, great for bird photography attached to my Sony 200-600mm lens, having the crop sensor means all of my lenses now have a different focal length too, my 135mm f1.8 is now 210mm of beautiful bokeh, great for those candid portraits.

Very impressed. Would definitely recommend as probably the best crop sensor camera I have used or owned.

A great camera to use once you get past the somewhat complicated menu system and get it set up the way you want it. Performance in the field is impressive; quick and accurate autofocus and I find myself needing to use exposure compensation far less than with my previous A6500.

Purchased the A6700 as an upgrade from the A6100 & what an upgrade it is. Everything about this camera screams quality from its new menus, more programmable switches/dials and the AF is excellent. So glad i made my purchase & i am sure i will enjoy the camera more as my experience grows.
