I bought these as a replacement to my previous earphones from Jabra. The sound quality and the bass is significantly better in Sony hand down and I am very happy about it. The connectivity is good, however, I have noticed a couple of times that one of the ear phone will lose the sound for just a split second. I wonder it is from the spatial head tilt setting which I am going to change. The earphones are very difficult to remove from and put back into the case. They are small and slippery. Putting them back in the dark and in sleep has been difficult for me so far. The touch sensitive buttons are laggy and has not been able to differentiate between accidental touch and intentional. But the outstanding sound quality outweighs these things.

Bought these two weeks ago to replace WF-1000XM4 and to be honest I’m very disappointed. They are not as loud as the XM4. They do not fit in the ear as well as the XM4. Control is awkward by comparison. So all in all wish I hadn’t go e for Sony.

I am loving these new headphones, the sound is crystal clear and the noise cancelling is very efficient so far (I've not tried tuning for activities yet). The EQ is easy to use. All round, happy..

Coming from the WF-1000XM3, which are still working btw, I expected a lot from the XM5. However I must say, I am not entirely satisfied. Given the standard from which am coming, I do not like the foam tips, they do not block exterior sound as well as XM3 and are uncomfortable. Bring back silicon tips. Also noticed that the quality of materials are no more the same.

I have owned these for about a week or so. The sound quality is great, still getting used to the way they fit. However they have a good seal and noise cancelling works well.

However. The case battery has been awful so far. It seems to provide only 4 hours worth of recharging. My earbuds have been used for around an hour, placed back in the case….the case drops to <75%. At the moment im having to charge the case daily. The earbuds outlast the case! It also seems to drain even when the earbuds are fully charged.

I got these as a present for my birthday. Had been using an old cheap pair before I got these. The difference is immense. The clarity is excellent. The convenience of the charging case makes the user ecperience so convenient. There are s lot of settings/features to vary your experience. Noise cancelling is good. Battery life is very good and the connectivity is consistently excellent.

Ei pysy korvissa isoimmillakaan sovitteilla, foami ei toimi. Vaihdan silikoonisiin.

Really happy, great service. Product has great sound quality and good battery life. Very comfortable to use for hours at a time. I would recommend these earbuds to a friend

I had a WF-1000XM3. Compared to this early version, WF-1000XM5's noise cancelling effect does not have a strong improvement or might be slightly worse tham XM3. Eventhough the ambiant sound mode does have a great improvement, noise cancelling is the main reason for purchasing this headset. Also, when placing the earbuds to the case, XM5 does not have a strong magnetic feeling as like XM3, and a bit loose, so XM5 always makes me worried about whether they are placed properly.

Much (much) better than my Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds, which lasted 3 months before having to send them back for a refund. They never worked properly since day 1. These Sony's however are more comfortable, smaller charger box, better sound and lighter. I could wear these all day. Love them.

Bought this item 2 weeks ago and the positives are the comfort and fit are great,the sound quality is also great but they lose connectivity constantly and I have done all the steps recommended to increase the Bluetooth connection.

Brilliant clear sound, lightweight and look great.

They are more comfortable in wearing than the XM4 and smaller, and have arguably the same quality of sount , i liked the new semi glosy and mate design finish and the options in the sony app just perfect, there's no battery issues this time fortunately hhh in the wm4 i was already forced to change the battery once and start dying against recently and the xm5 in fact it last longer than the clames, the mice i personnaly find it beter in cals or mybe my old unit was already tired not shure about this point, the ambient mode is mybe sliiiightly wors than the xm4 but if its because of the new design and size its an acceptable trade, didnt test the xm6 yet but if its have the same qualitys with even beter fit as they publish it's perfect then

Easy to set up and begin using right away.

Can connect to my phone and PC at the same time, so can use them for work instead of headphones that get hot and uncomfortable.

Sound quality is excellent and touch sensors are sensitive enough to be used easily without issue.

I find these easy to fit into my ears with the standard tips out the box, but there are plenty other sizes to choose from in the box.

Overall, another excellent product by Sony.

Bought about 4 weeks ago, had Bose ones before, these one as are amzing.

This is the closest I have heard to a Bose in terms of sound quality. The bass is good but could have been stronger a bit more which I think would then quality for five stars. Been about 8 days since charge and used for a few hours and battery still holds strong. It’s a quality product no doubt. Sony is trustworthy and makes sound products. I will recommend it for sure.

the sound is very good, the app gives you a lot of control to find the best sound for you, held in my ears well, very pleased with them would recommend.

Great earbuds, would recommend them for anyone. Works well with iOS

Smashing realy good earphones should have bougjt them sooner

Earbuds are good quality, but memory foam tips were disappointing. I tried different sizes but they were all uncomfortable and didn't fit properly, so ANC was not working. Then I tried them with my old silicone tips ( linkbuds S) and fit and performance was so much better, uncompearable.

Paras istuvuus varsin haastavan mallisiin korviini. Äänenvaimennus on ehdottomasti parasta mitä markkinoilla on tässä hintaluokassa ja äänentoiston mukauttaminen sovelluksessa on helppoa. Akunkesto on todella hyvä, kotelo on mukavan kevyt ja pieni, joten sujahtaa kätevästi käsilaukku tai taskuun mukaan.

Upgraded my old ones to these and they are fantastic recommend to me by my partner who’s had his one for over 5 years he has the MX 4 and they are still brilliant .
