High-quality, fully zone-free 90 cm wide induction cooktop from Miele. The cooktop features a straight glass edge that allows installation either flush or surface-mounted. Thanks to its fully zone-free operation, various shapes and sizes of cookware can be used on the cooktop, even up to six pots or pans simultaneously. The powerful TwinBooster function ensures fast heating times. The cooktop is controlled with intuitive SmartSelect touch controls, where each cooking zone has its own power selection bar. With intelligent pot detection, the cooktop automatically recognizes the cookware placed on it, activates the corresponding power selection bar, and allows power settings to follow the cookware if it is moved from one zone to another. Convenient preheating automation prevents food from burning on the bottom. Automatic pot size detection adjusts heating precisely to the correct area. The Stop&Go pause function temporarily reduces the power of all cooking zones to the lowest level with a single button press. Thanks to Con@ctivity, the cooktop can automatically control a Miele range hood. For safety, the cooktop also includes automatic shut-off, safety shut-off, a lock function, overheating protection, and residual heat indicators. Made in Germany and tested to withstand up to 20 years of household use.

Zone-free cooktop
The fully zone-free cooktop offers versatile and nearly unlimited cooking possibilities. The size or shape of the cookware is not a limiting factor when using a zone-free cooktop, as it has no predefined cooking zones of specific shapes or sizes. Even larger gourmet pans or grill plates can be used on the cooktop.

SmartSelect touch control
The cooking zones are controlled with the very easy-to-use SmartSelect touch control. Power selection is done separately for each cooking zone with its own power selection bar. This makes adjusting power faster and more precise. The power selection bar automatically appears when cookware is placed on the cooktop. The control panel features a timer display, residual heat indicators for each cooking zone, and dedicated buttons for the timer, pause function, and wipe protection. Each cooking zone also has its own timer buttons. Booster and residual heat functions are easily accessed via separate buttons.

TwinBooster
Speed and time savings in cooking thanks to the TwinBooster function. Two different booster power levels provide temporarily increased heating power, for example, to bring water to a boil faster. Can be selected individually for each cooking zone.

Intelligent pot detection
When powered on, the cooktop automatically detects the cookware placed on it and activates the correct power selection bar. Pot size detection directs the heating only to the cookware area. Thanks to intelligent functionality, the power selection bars follow the cookware when it is moved from one zone to another on the cooktop. Cookware can be dragged or lifted to different zones, and the power settings remain stored.

Stop&Go pause function
When the doorbell rings or in other situations requiring you to leave the cooktop, the pause function can reduce the power level of all cooking zones to level one with a single button press. Returning to the cooktop and pressing the Stop&Go button restores the original power settings for each cooking zone. This prevents food from burning or boiling over while you are away.

Wipe protection
If liquid boils over or spills on the cooktop, wipe protection can be activated with a button press. This locks the power settings and controls for 20 seconds, allowing the cooktop to be wiped clean without changing power levels or settings.

Preheating automation
Thanks to preheating automation, the cooktop automatically reduces the cooking power after an initial rapid heating phase. This prevents food from burning on the bottom, as the device lowers power automatically after a certain time from the start of cooking.

Programmable settings
The settings can be easily customized to suit your needs. For example, the sensitivity of the touch buttons and the volume of the signal and button sounds can be adjusted.

Recall function
All power settings and alarm timers are temporarily saved in the device’s memory. If the cooktop is accidentally turned off, you can restart it within 10 seconds, and the device will remember the previous settings.

Timer and alarm clock
The timer can be used for two purposes: as an alarm clock like a kitchen timer or to automatically switch off cooking zones. Automatic shut-off can be set separately for each cooking zone. You can schedule the cooking zones to turn off automatically while still using the alarm clock function simultaneously.

Con@ctivity & Miele@Home
The cooktop can control a Miele range hood equipped with Con@ctivity. The range hood starts and turns on the lights automatically when the cooktop is turned on. The hood adjusts the extraction power automatically according to the cooktop’s power settings and switches off after the cooktop is turned off. Con@ctivity requires a WLAN connection, and both devices must be connected to the Miele@Home system. The cooktop can also be controlled via the Miele app.

Safe to use
The cooktop is very safe to use. The safety shut-off automatically cuts power if a power level is used for an unusually long time. Overheating protection detects if a cooking zone becomes too hot and turns off the heating element before damage can occur to the ceramic surface or components. If something foreign, such as boiled-over water, gets onto the cooktop, power is automatically cut off. The child lock function prevents accidental or unauthorized activation.
