When the EGG has been used for a long time and intensively, the felt seals located at the upper edge of the ceramic bowl and at the lower edge of the ceramic lid with a chimney have worn out. Since these seals protect the ceramic and ensure perfect air circulation, it is sensible to replace them in time. This is easy to do yourself with a gasket kit. The felt seal is self-adhesive and easy to attach.
