The Intellinet injector supplies up to 30W of power to a PoE+ (802.3at) device located up to 328 feet away. Electrical safety is significantly improved because surveillance cameras and other devices do not require high-voltage power wiring; instead, they receive the necessary power through the Ethernet cable. When connected to a grounded outlet, the injector provides protection against overvoltage, short circuits, and overcurrent.
