Absolute beast of a router. Those dead spots are no more I’m even considering adding a smaller mesh along side this to add to the power currently get 1.6Gig from my Provider and now getting 1.9Gig with the AXE16000. All I can say is hats off to ASUS again I’m one happy customer always purchase the Rog Line you will not regret it.

Beautifully packaged, high quality build, very fast and powerful, and easy to set up and configure on my full fibre County Broadband 600/600 Mbps internet. Have loaded with Merlin firmware due to its extra stability and improved configuration options.

This new router replaces a 5 year old ASUs RT-AC5300 with Merlin firmware, that powered my BT Halo 2 74Mbps FTTC service faultlessly, but was not up to powering my new 600/600 Mbps County Broadband full fibre service, and I was only getting about 50% of the internet speed, due to the RT-AC5300 not having enough grunt, CPU 1 was running at 100% just running an Ookla speed test ons a single pc connected to the network.

This new GT-AXE16000 easily delivers full internet 600/600 speeds with the 4 cpus on just tickover. I fully expect it to work outstandingly for many years to come. I am so pleased with it that I have now ordered a pair of ASUS ZenWiFi Pro XT12s to provide whole house mesh WiFi and replace my existing Devolo Magic 2 WiFi mesh network.

Simply the best functioning router I’ve ever had. I previously had a Linksys wifi 6 mesh system this simply blows it away with the same coverage of 4 nodes. And the gaming ping is best I’ve ever had

Excellent design, fantastic gaming features & range. I now get full WiFi signal all around my house & Web pages load instantaneously.

It's definitely a beast of a machine! But I couldn't get it to work with my ISP and after 2 weeks of tech assistance and swapping to a Static IP and everything in between I had to return it.
