Sony E 11mm f/1.8 Wide-Angle Lens

Bought this ultra wide angle to complement my existing lenses

Todella hyvä objektiivi erityisesti Sony ZV-E10 kanssa videokuvaukseen ja vlogeihin. Erittäin laaja kuvakulma, hyvä valovoima hämärään sekä terävä jälki. Yllättävän pieni ja kevyt kokoon nähden, joten kulkee helposti mukana. Automaattitarkennus toimii nopeasti ja hiljaisesti myös videolla.

I have only just purchased the E11 lens. I have used it a couple of times now and am very impressed indeed. The main reason in buying the E11 is to capture large objects close up, the real test will be when we go to Scotland next year. In theory it should make a superb job of photographing the Kelpies. We waits and sees in that one.

Limited use so far however this lens has already given excellent results. See attached photo and zoom in to see the stones being tossed up as the wave breaks.

I tested this lens out in the shop before I decided to purchase. I walked around the store with it attached my A6700 in video mode and with 'Active Steady Shot' enabled and was blown away with its quality and the stabilisation achieved. With a 1.5 crop factor compared to FF and a slight crop from the stabilisation 11mm and F1.8 is well suited to videography.

Bought this lens to partner my ZV-E10 as a Vlogging lens. We needed to be able to include me, my wife and a fair bit of background in the frame. Also I love to shoot in low light. This lens performs beyond my expectations. Images are really crisp and clear with great colour saturation. I couldn’t be happier. Next for me is the E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G. Can’t wait!

perfect perfect with sony zv e10. beautiful bokah, light, solid, well made, very wide viewing angle perfect for vlogging. Possibility of af/mf additional button to propose. No cons for me.
