The Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 is part of Samyang's popular Tiny but Mighty series for Sony's Full Frame E-mount (FE). It offers excellent corner-to-corner image quality even at an f/1.8 aperture. Thanks to its quiet autofocus and precise continuous focusing, it is a great choice for both photography and video recording.

The lens optical design consists of ten elements in eight groups. Two aspherical lenses and two hybrid aspherical lenses minimize spherical aberrations and distortions to achieve the best possible image quality. The nine-blade aperture creates creamy, round bokeh and helps produce a dreamy depth of field.

The lens weighs only 210 g (without lens cap and lens hood), measures 65.0 mm (diameter) and 63.5 mm (length), and is weather-sealed to withstand use in challenging conditions.

There is a customizable switch on the side of the lens, allowing the user to assign various functions. Functions can be easily changed or added using Samyang's Lens Station dock.
