The charcoal tray is placed either on top of the browning plates or directly on the gas burners, depending on the model, in the Napoleon gas grill. A pile of charcoal is made in the center of the tray, and the grill’s gas burner is used to ignite the charcoal without lighter fluid or separate fire starters.
