Weber SmokeFire EX6 GBS -pellettigrilli

Purchase a few years ago, aim always carful and use good quality Weber pellets, and never had an issue. On the 2 Occassion's where I used different branded pellets i had a couple of issues. Threw them away and have only stuck with Weber Pellets.

Working great, results have been very impressive. Would love to see a built in option for this grill, that would be awesome.

Had it a week, so naturally already completed two full cooks and couldn't be happier. Started easy with two large chickens (cooked to perfection) and was amazed at how accurate the temps were. Following this success I went on to a Boston Butt X2 and a rack of beef ribs over 9 hours...another great success. Couldn't be any easier. I'm moving on to Lamb

I bought a different brand at first and after using it for 24h and almost had a hopper fire, I then returned it. I decided straight away to get the SmokeFire as I saw the improvement that they had compared to the other brand and I had always loved Weber. I saw a few videos and read some negative reviews about it in the USA but that was the first version. Before buying, I went to check another more expensive brand but after comparing it with the SmokeFire, the built quality is just amazing and cannot be beaten. The SmokeFire is more premium for a cheaper price!!!

I have been using it for couple of months now and cooked on it multiple times. I cannot be happier. I did a brisket and pork butt all together on a 20h plus cooking, sausages, chicken, more brisket and today a beautiful reverse seared tomahawk. Everything was so delicious and easy to manage. I did not have any issues leaving it on overnight and in the morning, there were still plenty of pellets.

I cleaned it without much trouble and if I do a long cook, I just put a tray under the grills so it will collect all the grease from the meat. I love the app and the notification, the probes, and the alarms on them.

The only thing that I would suggest is to allow the SmokeBoost mode to have a timer and after the timer rings swap back to a pre-determined temperature.

My work colleague might buy one after being very impressed with mine.

Had the EX6 for about 6 weeks and love it, have done everything from brisket, ribs, cheeks, reverse sear, hard sear, pizza, roast chicken, pork and more. Set and forget, adjust the temp from the phone. Temperature range is awesome.

Nothing but issues with first smoke fire, after months of haggling Weber they finally replaced it but did everything they could to avoid it. Second unit is also faulty where it is smoking fire maybe an hour or so and then just loses temperature and stops burning pellets. Can’t possibly walk away from unit as it is so unreliable.

But when it works the whole cook through it is amazing.

I don’t recommend buying as there are other cheaper options out there.

I would not recommend the Weber SmokeFire EX6 to anyone.

This thing has been a massive disappointment. It spends more time broken than actually working.

I have had an E7 motor failure, lighter failures, and now it looks like the auger has stopped feeding pellets. It will only smoke for a short time if I manually put pellets in the pot. Once they burn out, the smoker just goes out.

For the money, this is not good enough. I expected a lot better from Weber.

I had a different brand smoker before this and never had one issue with it. It just worked, which is all I wanted this one to do.

The SmokeFire has been nothing but problems. I regret buying it and would not buy another Weber pellet smoker again.

Got this smoker as soon as it came out. Knowing Webber is a very reliable and trustworthy brand but boy was I wrong. I’ve had this smoker for a year and I’ve had to call in to get it repair approximately 5 time within the year. Came to the lint where Weber had to send me a new smoker and they sent me the same model again. Same issues would not recommend this brand to anyone I care for. If they wanted to do do right they would have sent the updated model but now they’re cutting corners and we’re the ones that get stuck with a very expensive purchase and and underwhelming result. Very frustrating and disappointing.
