Asus ProArt PA329C 32" -4K UHD näyttö

I've only had the monitor a week now but from straight out of the box, the design, quality and ease of set up just blew me away and then the display itself. The colours and blackness really make this monitor stand out from the others in its price range. Once again Asus have outdone themselves in producing a nearly perfect budget video editing monitor!

…not quite, now the rain has gone, but definitely now the ASUS PoArt32 has landed in my studio. I’ve been a Apple Fan Boy for most of my working life, and that’s now been quite some time now. But when Apple introduced the M1 Studio Mac I was torn… do I go Apple Display and enjoy 27” of Apple goodness, or break out of the Apple-verse and go with something else. I am VERY glad I made a decision for the latter and after a LOT of research, I plucked up the courage and ordered the ASUS ProArt 32”. I have not been disappointed in ANY way. Superb screen, excellent physical adjustability and lots of connectivity. And all for 2/3 of the Apple Display price. Does it look as good on your desk? Maybe not, but I can live with that because the advantages outweigh any cosmetic differences. And now Apple’s Ventura OS allows the iPhone to be a webcam, the lack of same with the ASUS is negated. It’s a win win.

great monitor, pity about the lack of mac hardware calibration. the monitor is great with or without calibration, but the proart calibration software for mac doesn't seem to exist or work and its seeming replacement creator hub is windows only. without these the hardware calibration (ie saving the icc in the monitor) can't be done. software calibration with icc stored in mac is fine.

Hardware calibration and profile useful for professional work as it allows multiple laptops to be used without any changes to the colour output displayed. Factory calibration is on point too, pretty much the same colour profile out of the box, than the Datacolour calibration I ran.

However, the Asus software tool needs complete reworking. Typos within interface, app runs buggy and so slow on my Mac M1, its unusable! Only reason to get this proart monitor over the slightly cheaper ROG PG32UQ (which seams to have a similar 10 bit panel and you get HDMI 2.1 144hz) was the hardware calibration and software, and IMO this proart looks better than the ROG (the ROG has a fat bottom chin). But Asus have not invested in good and timely software updates.

Image quality good, but for the price and the fact the PG32UQ with displayport 1.4 and hdmi 2.1exists, you really need to fix the software. It's not acceptable to have poor software on a "pro" monitor, especially when you charge extra to have the software feature.

Tiny dust under panel, warranty refuse to cover. Overall a good monitor but please make the warranty service better especially when your QC is terrible!
