Mustang Off-set Georgia Smoke Pot

A very sturdy Mustang offset smoker. A separate firebox is used to create the fire, and the smoke is directed into a separate smoking chamber. The smoking chamber features sturdy enamel-coated wire steel grates. The heating grate is made of enamel-coated wire steel. The firebox has its own sturdy enamel-coated grilling grates for direct grilling over the embers. The firebox lid is flat, which can be used for cooking or keeping food warm. Both the firebox and the grilling/smoking chamber are made of rolled steel. The powder coating withstands heat up to 600 °C. The firebox has a large air control valve that directs air to the embers. Smoke is vented through the chimney. The chimney has a damper to regulate the draft. The chimney outlet is positioned so that the smoke makes an extra turn inside the smoking chamber. At the bottom of the grilling/smoking chamber is a galvanized drip tray, placed to channel fats and marinades into a galvanized grease bucket located under the smoker. Sturdy and large wheels make moving the smoker easier. The lid has two thermometers to monitor the temperature. At the end of the grilling/smoking chamber are separate hatches through which external cooking thermometer probes can be inserted inside the chamber. This smoker is compatible with the Mustang motor rod.
