Great for When You Want A General Walkabout Lens..

Bought as part of a kit with the a6700.

I specifically chose this lens after reading and listening to many views .

I find this lens light to carry and easy to use. I don’t get the zoom creeping with the camera on a strap.

It’s unobtrusive and so doesn’t get in the way or catch on obstructions.

As for images, I get sharp photos over a wide to narrow field of view. The image stabilisation taken care of in body.

A fairly inexpensive (especially as a kit) all-rounder of a lens that suits me every day. The max aperture is limited but changing ISO solves that.

I also love the sleek design.

A beautiful 'walk around' lens. Covers pretty much most aspects of daily photography. Very easy to use and great crisp, sharp images captured with this lens.

Great lens for general travel and a good selection of situations its compact and light

Very well built lens that has stood the test of time.

New lens works well in current weather conditions. Look forward to Spring and Summer.

I'm a beginner and this was an option with an a6700. I find the lens is perfect for me, as it has a decent zoom but can use it for the wider angles while I learn more about how to improve the quality of my shots. The lens itself is not heavy at all but feels sturdy.

Got this lens as part of a kit with A6400. Overall really impressed with sharpness and size and portability of this lens. For a kit lens it is really impressive.

This is a great all round lens. I have been using it now for a couple of months. Sharp focus in all scenarios. No hesitation recommending it
