Nettiä tutkiessa löysin muutaman uutisartikkelin, jossa jotkin Switch 2-Edition pelit ovat toimineet Switch 1 konsolilla (Esim. Breath of the Wild Switch 2 edition j, mutta ilman Switch 2 Edition ominaisuuksia), mutta löysin myös artikkeleitä joiden mukaan Switch 2 Edition pelit eivät toimisi Switch 1:llä.
