Received used product
The one I got had marks of previous use (yellow oil marks) on the inside, under the oil basin. There is also a very distinct rancid oil smell. While this doesn't really impact the functioning of the product, it is a clear lack of respect to the customer; classic "oh, they won't notice" mentality.
I had the option to return it but it's definitely not worth the hassle or my time, so I thought of giving them a bad review instead. It seems like it was done intentionally on Emerio's part because they thought most people wouldn't remove the oil basin to wash it before first use. They tried to cut corners, but replaced it with two new corners. On the bright side, it was a good low-cost lesson to never buy Emerio products again.
