The Chromebook just has two USB-C ports, and I like the fact that a port is not needed to use the mouse. The mouse is well balanced and has a scroll wheel with enough precision to run CAD programs.

My concern that may not be true, is that the specification would indicate that the battery may not last as long.

It would turn on, light up, but would not connect.

Setup was easy, place a AA battery, close battery door, hit pair button on bottom. My Lenovo laptop found it right away. Smooth scroll motion. Buttons are in easy reach. Just wish my laptop would Auto turn On/Off the touch pad if the mouse is in use. Can not comment on battery life, I have only had this <30 days.
