Wonderful TV
Picture and sound are brilliant. Old TV was an LG OLED C1, this is a better overall package in my opinion. It is easy to set up, and the controls are very intuitive. I had no problems adding my sky stream, dvd player and sonos soundbar to the tv. Adjusting the presets for colour/brightness/contrast is very easy. I suggest watching a few YouTube guides on how to get the best picture and use them as a guide for your own taste. As you use the TV you find new ways to customise it to your own preferences. I am very happy with this TV.
Sony Bravia 7 ii.
This is a remarkable television, once you get the picture settings right. I found the best way to do this is to use Gemini . It can be used to converse with through each setting.
The problem I have!
Only problem I have every so often the Tv doesn’t turn on so I have to unplug it and plug back in and it works
Awesome Television.
Excellent television colour, contrast, picture and quality sounds.
True RGB mini led loistaa kuvallaan.
Parinviikon käytön jälkeen ollaan erittäin tyytyväisiä. Käytön nopeus ja toiminta verrattuna edelliseen, on parannus huikea. Ei tarvi odotella, asiat tapahtuu heti, eikä mene jumiin.
Google tv, verrattuna web os:n, huomattavasti parempi käytettävyys.
Kuvanlaatu, värit ja valoisuus todella hyvällä tasolla.
Another triumph for Sony
I upgraded my Sony 49XH95 to a Bravia 7ll, looking for clearer speech. It delivers. I also find an improved picture depending on the source signal. Ideally a 4k blu-ray provides the best performance.
I have also coupled the tv with a soundbar and a woofer sub 7.
However I have not awarded the setup 5 stars, as given that this is a high end product, the sophistication could be best explained with a more comprehensive manual.
Nightmare website
My Sony will not allow me to register the correct date. The date of purchase was the 31st of August 2026. Your website is a nightmare
Great Improvement in my old TV
A great picture improvement on my 9 year old Samsung. Picture does blink however when selecting Sky Q TV Guide.
Solid buy
I purchased this TV a few weeks ago. In general happy with the TV. I wish I had got John Lewis to install it as it was a bit tricky to set up both the stand and initiate the system.
This was the only current TV that had a screen size of 50in, as I cannot accommodate any larger screen TV.
Great image quality
So far it is very impressive and allowing my PS5 Pro to finally shine
Not great
To much fiddling around setting up the tv. Once sorted found that the sound and picture go out of sync occasionally. This also happened when using games consoles. Surely these Sony ps5 and the tv should automatically sync, but no, still syncing out. Only solution was to turn the console off and try again.
Great picture, lots of detail , best tv I've had ,
Would recommend it 5☆
A massive let down
After reading all the positive hype and advertisements regarding this model, I bought one to replace my LG G3 OLED. Although the sound was a little better the picture is no way as stunning compared to the LG.
I agree the already calibrated pictures on Netflix etc are acceptable, all the rest are mediocre at best.
The programming guide is worse than useless and is completely unexpectable for a TV of this supposed stature and price.
The original Bravia TVs where indeed outstanding and this is what I hoped to find this one would be, but no, this was most disappointing.
This is after many years the first negative revue that I have ever posted, and it truly saddens me in having to do so.
True RGB 4K HDR TV That Elevates Everyday Viewing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After testing the TV in various scenarios, I can confidently say it is the best TV I have ever owned.
The True RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro delivers breathtaking colour accuracy and depth, while the XR Processor powered by AI ensures every scene looks lifelike and finely detailed.
The Acoustic Multi Audio+ system creates immersive sound that feels perfectly in sync with the visuals, and with the Studio Calibrated Mode — just like being in a cinema. Streaming is effortless with Google TV, offering a vast library of content and apps. I also appreciate the Eco Dashboard 2, which helps me track and optimise energy usage without sacrificing performance. Gaming also feels smooth and responsive, with excellent colour accuracy.
PenguinArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla sony.comI am overall very pleased with this TV . Sharp definition & contrast . The Audio Is quite adequate from the screen & The voice booster is Useful in keeping overall sound down , keeping the neighbours happy .
I do find the remote for terrestial TV button arrangement less than ideal and in conjunction with the onscreen channel menu find changing channels more time consuming than our last TV . I deduct one star in consequence . This aside I would not hesitate to recommend this TV . Sony also gave a free five year extended Guarantee which is a reassuring sign of probable long term reliability .
Sony Bravia RGB
I bought this TV three months ago and its been an excellent buy. The picture and sound are Brilliant.
Picture and sound awesome
Got this tv because of Wich review well pleased but speech control excellent
Nice tv
I bought this a two weeks ago and am happy with it however it doesn't have the feature we asked fir when speaking to the Sony consultant at Curry's. That was a non reflective screen
Sony BRAVIA 7 II 85” first impressions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 85” Sony BRAVIA 7 II is a two-person lift at least. I needed my sister and brother-in-law as well — two of us holding the panel while the third fitted the metal stand. Do not try this on your own.
Once fitted and connected to my WIFI and Google TV I tried YouTube, Prime Video and Sony Pictures Core apps. Core came with the 10 movie credits, and I spent them on 10 films from the Sony / Columbia list. The apps opened without fuss. I have only had a short time with the set so far, so this is first use rather than a full film-by-film picture test. I used one of the Pictures Core credits on Donnie Brasco and watched the whole film. I was very impressed. Faces were sharp and detailed, backgrounds stayed clear, and the colours popped.
I also connected my Sony UBP-X700 4K UHD player and watched a scene from Pacific Rim. Next to streaming, the disc looked even better. I was very impressed by the 4K UHD picture — more punch and finer detail than the streamed film.
I then plugged in my standard PS5 and played a bit of MLB The Show 26. Compared with the 55” Sony BRAVIA I put in the bedroom in early 2019, the 7 II felt much tighter — less delay between the controller and the screen. For a first evening of single-player, it was a clear step up.
Early days, but the 85” 7 II has done what I needed so far: easy apps, a strong picture on both stream and 4K disc, and less lag on PS5 than my 2019 bedroom Sony. It is a heavy set and you will want help on the stand.
AndyMcFlashArvostelu kirjoitettu sivustolla sony.comGreat picture
Almost two weeks since my new 65” Sony Bravia 711 arrived from John Lewis. My observations following the tv being fitted on the wall: At first It appears to overwhelm the room but, you soon get over that when you perform the initial installation and see the clarity of the objects on screen, the vibrant colours and the many different viewing options for you to choose from. The on screen instructions make ot easy for you to complete the initial installation. My advice to new owners like me who are moving up from much smaller (49) and older tv’s (9) is to begin with ‘ standard ‘ offerings unless you are going straight to Cinema or gaming consoles mode. The remote controls are designed to enable you to easily access the colour contrast and sound options as frequently as you wish, so no need to rush into your decisions. Linking the sound with a Sony theatre bar 6 is easy and the experience of seeing and hearing the cinema effects is fantastic. I have linked my tv to my Sky Q box and the Sky handset works well until I shut down for the evening; I have to use the Sony Core controller to shut down.
Which leads me to another issue I have yet to resolve, as you move through recorded audio, streamed transmissions and live tv, the syncing between audio and visual output slips a little and the only way I have found to correct this is to turn off/turn on again with the Sony remote and, although inconvenient, resolves the issue.
Overall, I would say the smooth motion of the ball during football matches (who knew grass was so green) and the vivid, brightness and uniformity of the images in, for example YouTube videos and cinema screenshots have transformed the enjoyment of tv viewing in our home.
Excellent TV.
I Bought this new tv from Richer Sounds a few weeks ago. It is the Bravia 7 ii 50" version. I have found it that it has excellent picture quality and is a massive improvement to my old KD-49XH9505. I did a lot of research with online reviews before making the decision to buy this model which gives you idea, but nothing beats real world experience. I have found the viewing angles to be much better, screen uniformity to be top notch (no DSE or vignetting in the corners) and clearer sharper and colourful picture on all sources dvd, virgin 360 box and streaming netflix, prime, youtube tv built in apps. Not to keen on the calibrated modes for netflix and prime, but you can turn those off. I found the setup out of the box fairly easy but initially the factory default for brightness is very low leading to a dull picture. This is down to the ECO mode set to full default and peak luminance to be set to preference.
The screen has a semi gloss finish very similar to my old tv and for me reflection is not an issue in a medium light lounge. The sound from the TV is good (but not perfect) but a vast improvement on the old tv.
Overall a great TV and would recommend.
Fantastic colours, deep blacks, phenomenal sound
After selling TVs for the last 26 years from CRT, Plasma’s, OLED, LED TVs and Mini LED, I have never seen a picture so clear, The colour spectrum is truly outstanding. would highly recommend the Sony Bravia 7 II The sound on the TV is a awesome. I’ve paired it up with a Sony U theatre neckband. Can’t believe how good these sound. My next purchase will be a subwoofer to pair up with the TV. No need for a samba
Great vibrant colour
We are absolutely thrilled with our Sony Bravia 7ii. After months of research we decided to purchase the new flagship RGB mini led by Sony , and we couldn’t be happier. Specially in our bright room the colour are absolutely outstanding.
Premium tv, similar to Oled, without any burn!
Had the tv a week or two & had time to play around with settings & calibrating to my standards & really liking this tv!
Upgraded from a 7yr old 65” 4k Sony Bravia which still works fine & parents now enjoying! But wanted newer model, not an oled as concerned regards screen burn but wanted the similar brightness this true RGB screen could offer.
The 120hz refresh rate for the smoothness of gaming was also a requirement & works well with the PS5 in the lounge. Dont game as much on console as do on pc as the 60hz on previous tv was lot lower than the 144hz of my gaming monitor but this works great now! Had to tinker a bit to get it to work, mostly as was set up through my 7.1amp & realised that although had 4k through put & the right hdmi cable for fast data, the amp could only kick out 60hz, so now cabled direct to tv. But you have to have 120hz on the game as not all have that output. So took a while to check working correctly but looks really good. Pretty sure does a good job of scaling some older games too. Whether that’s the PS5 or the tv or combo of both not sure but looks really good!
There a lot of settings I still haven’t tinkered with that much, just enough that happy with the display. Sound was really good compared to the old model when first set up & before run through my amp. The speakers on the back of the tv did a really good job, so if setting up without an amp you wouldn’t necessarily need a sound bar but to get the best sound, think will always need some sort of bar or amp just due to the thickness or thinness of modern tvs. Is little thicker than old Bravia so can see that improvement with speakers & was noticeably heavier! Took couple of attempts to hook on wall, mainly as the vesa mount holes on this tv were lower on back, so rode the tv too high up the wall! But wasn’t issue once resolved.
Can’t say have found any faults so far. OS is pretty snappy for usual android set up, can get round the apps & usual colour & contrast settings easy enough. There is 2 remotes for the tv which haven’t looked into why?! The “main” one is backlit when pick up, which is great, like my shield tv box & has added bonus of being rechargeable! Which again is great & saves battery swaps etc. nice touch. Remote has useful short links to apps & very responsive with my amp volume, where other there was slight delay.
The other remote however I can’t work out its purpose, though it looks the same as most other general Sony remotes, not the premium type. So whether some prefer the new or the old I guess Sony covered both bases! Still preferred my old Bravia metal silver remote, though was quite a long slender remote, felt bit more premium! But each their own!
Would recommend this tv highly if you want a great premium tv with amazing screen brightness, very little light bleed around the blacks & great colour & resolution. Smooth gameplay if gaming and plenty of features & settings.
