very lovely camera! i’d say pretty starter friendly, comes with everything which is great. i love the quality of the photos it’s beautiful. only downside is i wish it came with a smaller protective camera holder but that’s fine! very lovely ☺️

Fantastic Beginner Camera

A fantastic mirrorless at an entry level price, bristling with features, to use the camera with my EF zoom lenses I purchased a Meike EFS-R adaptor rather than shelling out on new R type lenses, I enjoy photographing wildlife and landscape subjects, fantastic results.

Absolutely loving the camera...totally a beginner and lots to learn but finding the camera pretty easy so far...and buying the bundle has been a good decision as it has everything to start my photography journey

This is an amazing camera, its settings are easy to use as it the app it connects to. It is supper lights weight and small so it is easy to take with you. All in all it is brilliant wether you need it for professional use or for ever day things.

Absolutely love this camera but….

First off, I’ve come from a 550D to the R50 so it’s a fantastic upgrade in many, many, ways. The only criticism I have and this is entirely personal as I have fairly large hands, is that where the 550D sat perfectly in my hands, the R50 feels small and a little cramped. Most of the time I’ll be using it on a tripod so it’s not that big a deal, however if your intended use case isn’t tripod based then I’d recommend that you visit a store and hold one and see how good a fit it is for you. Overall I’m really happy with the camera and the accompanying app.

I’m over the moon with this camera. It is easy to use especially on auto, but I’ve also had a play with the manual settings too and plan to learn exactly how to use it. I bought the Canon RF 100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM Lens to go with it and have taken some lovely bird and wildlife shots already! The memory card, battery and bag that came with the deal are all great quality. I like that the camera isn’t as heavy as an SLR but takes much nicer pictures than the bridge camera I’ve upgraded from.

Bought the camera and 100-400 lens for a safari trip special and it surpassed my expectations for simple to use, lightweight operation on the go. So glad I got around to it pre the trip.

Wish the social media pack was in stock, but decent camera, although the lens is not suitable for my type of art. I guess that’s on me. Anyway great camera for someone starting out. The supposed ai is pretty decent.

Perfect for filming and photography. I have a passion for directing and this is one of the first stepping stones in achieving that. I plan to use this to practice and get my first projects out there.

Would be slightly better if it had the option for C-log footage when recording, but is not that much of an issue.

This is a great camera, the lightness is ideal for carrying around, either on a wrist strap or in a shoulder bag.

Just what I needed to get back into photography. Although it is more complex than my simple SLR from decades ago, I am taking it easy in learning what this little package of technology can do.

Buying it all in a bundle saved a fair piece of money too.

I bought this around a month ago and I am still getting used to the new controls and settings which go with mirrorless cameras. Have managed to produce some intricately detailed landscape images which have impressed me in terms of how much detail is captured in the shot. Still getting used to the more exposed sensor and the need to take care in checking for dust and debris between lens changes.

Very prompt delivery and I am extremely pleased with the camera. I have only had it a few weeks but so far it has been easy to use and the pictures using the kit lenses have been good. Still getting to know all the features but auto makes the process relatively easy amending the settings bit by bit as I learn more about the camera.

Bought my R50 a month ago and loving it.

There's a lot in there, so I bought the "R50 for Dummies" book, which is a great reference to what the camera can do.

This was my birthday present about a month ago. I am very pleased with it although I have had a ew problems with getting a filter for the camera as Canon did not have any in stock but that has been resolved now. I love how light it is and how easy to use.

I love this camera it’s small and light but the auto focus is fast and smart. This was a great buy.

The cannon R50 is a wonderful camera. I am pleasantly surprised with its lightness and capability. The rf35 1.8 is a really good lens. So with the results I am getting I know it was the right camera for me.
